Jiggy was the pioneer of minimal electronic music in Portugal. Today he still is one of the most innovative djs . Since the early nineties - when his professional career got started as resident dj in Alcântara Mar and then in Kremlin ( the same mythic clubs as Dj Vibe start is career ) – to the present days, playing all over the world together with the greatest international names, he's been consolidating an unique position as producer and dj, recognized by some of the world's best artists (Carl Cox were referring to Jiggy , on JockeySlut magazine as one of the best Djs in the world ) . After winning the Dance Club Award for the “best national compilation” in 2004, he won in 2005 the same prize for “best national techno dj”. Now after several remixes, some bestsellers on Beatport like Lula-Twilo in partnership with is mate Carlos Fauvrelle,is always innovating in the studio and in is sets.
