Born and raised in the small country of Lebanon on coast of the Mediterranean. Moved to the US at the age of 18 to the state wonder of Delaware. Jerry didn't start DJing till after getting his bachelor in electrical and computer engineering.
His passion to music evolved from his interest in many different and diverse music ranging from arabic darbuka rich music to pop music dominated by NSYNC/Spears (and all the pop annoying music nowadays). He was always interested in the beat of the song rather than the meaning behind the lyrics. He was first introduced to dance music by the legendary The Master of Turn Tables Paul Oakenfold. Not too long after, all his music's taste changed when he heard a BT (Brian Transeau) single called Dreaming. Since then, dance music has been his passion. He started with Trance with interests like Tiesto and PVD and from there he got into every genre of dance music from house/electro/tribal/breaks.
JNH started his DJ hobby in February 2005 in his bedroom with a pair of very crappy table top cd players and a very noisy mixer but soon enough he picked up a nice pair of CDJ's and a DJM mixer. He played in many local venues in Delaware such as Timothys, Shaggys, MVP Sports Bar and Lounge and some venues in Philadelphia such as Byblos.
Given a trained ear to international music, JNH started spreading international music around the tristate area in early spring 2006. He promoted/hosted and DJed on every Thursday Night at MVP Sports Bar and Lounge an International Dance Night which was a mix of euro, arabic, latin, greek, turkish music with a twist of a dance beat into it.
Now that he moved to old city philly, JNH is working on spreading his international dance music into the city and get involved in more dance events before he finishes his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Delaware.
