Watch and learn!.. this is exactly what Joel T better known as ..Hyper Flexus.. did while learning to DJ since the age of twelve from his brother Joie T. member of the Scare Dem Crew and Grenada..s number 1 DJ.
His natural talent is DJing, his technique stems from having a true understanding of the equipment. His experience in electrical and sound engineering makes him an asset not only as a DJ to JAMKAM but also as a sound technician to other sound systems. Further proving his skills and ambition, while garnering a BA from New York..s City College Joel T., very shortly, assumed the position of general manager at the College radio station.
Hyper Flexus is the DJ and Joel T. is the electrical and sound engineer. Flexus has earned his name as the reggae/ calypso king of JAMKAM but is not limited to that genre. When first witnessing his unique style of mixing Hip-Hop/R&B/Reggae and Calypso you are intrigued. His technique is like a turntablist at a battle, ferocious yet effortless, showy but entertaining. The audience is captivated by his selection of tunes, sticking to the dance floor ..like glue... Commanding the mic like a true DJ, partygoers have no choice but to follow his lead. His selection of choice hits seem endless due mostly to his extensive musical library and based in part on his DJing technique.
JamKam is the crew Hyper Flexus is one of the DJs; Joel T. is the sound engineer and technician. Whatever you call him, where ever you are in the world Hyper Flexus will clash and kill any sound that wants to test!
