I am a DJ and electronic music producer. My forte is breaks, house, industrial and electro. My influences vary through different facets of music, too many to list and my production is a reflection of my diversity. Every song I have written, produced, arranged or remixed sounds different. Music is an expression of emotion and the moment, and it all depends on how I’m feeling that moment or what I’m into that reflects the direction of my music.

I have been involved with music for over 20 years. My groundbreaking Florida based label "FreakinMusic" became a staple in breakbeat culture in the late til the early millennium, turning out classics such as "Do You like The Bass", "Teenage America", and was the label that fronted "The Red Pill" by Scratch-d & H-Bomb.

I have also been involved in group projects with partners DJ Storm and BFX under the alias’ of Sensei, Bros of Funk and Dub Species, and have accredited releases and remixes on Functional Breaks, Funk Wax, Thursday Club Recordings, Made From Concentrate, Moonshine and Big Bang Records. My music has been featured on mixed compilations by artist such as Rick West, Rob-E, Huda Hudia, Tayo & Rennie Pilgrem to name a few. My Dub Species remix of Trona’s "Dangerous" on Moonshine was featured as part of the background for "Girls Gone Wild" presented on E! and I was the remix artist behind the promo only - Dangerous Breaks V.1 & V.2 which featured unreleased break mixes of "Rapture", "Castles in The Sky", "Ride Like The Wind", "Le Freak", "Angel" & "Your Eyes". My most memorable accomplishments would have to be the "Perfect Timing" cd compilation series that I programed and mixed with partner DJ Storm.

My latest breaks release includes three vocal tunes. The Drum Machine EP features my signature progressive, upfront breakbeat style accompanied with melodic undertones and powerful lyrical vocals,

My credits are as follows...

I wanted to personally invite you to the next AfterDark event...our Halloween Ball @ Respectable Street in West Palm Beach. Our last event "The AfterDark Reunion" on Labor Day with DJ Icey was incredible, and I am bringing back the vibe every month with a great line up of the best Breaks / Electro talent in the world.

It is on Wednesday October 28th, celebrating Halloween and H-Bomb's (one of the creators of the Red Pill) birthday.

I am really stoked because I am bringing in one of the best break beat producers in the U.S....

DJ FIXX of illeleveneleven who also produces with Keith McKenzie as KMFX...this will be his first Palm Beach appearance ever.

alongside will be Johnny Dangerously with Mark Ivan aka Lo IQ, Dj Storm, H-Bomb and many more.

I am looking forward to seeing you there...

...check out DJ Fixx's myspace page...you will definitely love him if you already don't...

http://www.myspace.com/djfixx

DJ FIXX - Over the past 10 years, breakbeat pioneer DJ Fixx has been stocking the shelves of record stores everywhere. Said by many as one of the most innovative and consistent producers in the industry, he continues to deliver some of the most sought after breakbeat tracks available. Making his debut in 1998, Fixx produced over 75 anthems on the classic Kaleidoscope Music label. Many of these timeless tracks are still played frequently today. This was then followed by Fixx's own personal imprint, Bottom-End Records (2004-2008). Managed by Afterdark, the BER trademark produced some of the biggest anthems in the industry, easily claiming the spot of one of the top five best-selling domestic label

SUBMORPHICS
Photobucket

Submorphics is Chicago-based producer and lifetime musician Greg Axelrad. Originally a duo consisting of Greg and longtime friend Ryan Lolas, late 2006 saw Greg taking full control over the project as a solo artist.

Drawing on influences such as soul, rare groove, jazz, hip hop, 70s rock, deep house and film soundtracks, Submorphics' eclectic musical DnB output has received widespread global support from artists such as Makoto, High Contrast, LTJ Bukem, Marky, Danny Byrd, Big Bud, Alix Perez, Nookie and many more.

A crowd favorite on the decks as well, Submorphics DJ schedule has increased in 2007-2008, playing coast-to-coast in the states, as well as touring in the UK and Europe. His sets encompass a wide variety of rolling musical dnb, as well as taking it more edgy and experimental, providing a diverse selection of beats every time.

With releases out and forthcoming on labels like Spearhead Recordings , Westbay Recordings, Phunkfiction Recordings, Sonorous Music, Vibez Recordings, Intrinsic Recordings, Blu Saphir Recordings, Future Retro Records and Cymbalism Recordings, Submorphics is becoming a strong force in an already thriving new-school North American drum n bass scene.

Now signed to LA/London-based Westbay Recordings for 2009, Submorphics has a plethora of forthcoming material to look out for in the new year, as well as some tidy remixes.
