An ancient, forgotten practice known as "Self-Expression"
"Joseph Mancuso (Joman, JTM) has made a name for himself as an extremely ambitious and long-standing music producer, DJ and vocalist in the genres of trance, house, and industrial music. In the 8 years since first being exposed to electronic music, this talented producer has written hundreds of original tracks, performed at prominent music events along with world-famous headliners, and released his debut album, "Bleeding Heart Synchronicity."
Influenced by trance, particularly old-school trance, Joman has created his own style, which includes an eclectic range of trance and house. To this he also adds a sense of artistic darkness and depth with his inclusion of industrial sounds. The hard sound of tracks like "No Junk No Soul" and the melodic, flowing vibe of tracks like "Axiom" attest to his versatility as a producer, and the broad range of emotions he derives his music from.
As if producing hundreds of original tracks was not enough, he has gained a following at many notable events including Andromeda, Pyrotechnics, Illuminati and the Church, headlining alongside such artists as BT, Darude, 4 Strings, Joop, John 00' Fleming, Victor Dinaire, John Bishop, Donald Glaude and others.
His hard work and musical production skills captured the attention of prominent artists such as Ghosh and Nitemer, who recruited Joman to play his new track "The Flow" to a packed crowd at The Church. In addition, his deep and melodic trance sounds earned him radio play that led to a show on Clear Channel's 93.3's E-11.
Recently Joman was discovered by DJ Vanish of One Productions, who immediately signed him to his indie side label, Velcro City Records. The deal resulted in Joman's remix of Vanish's "Mile High City" being downloaded internationally from BEATPORT.COM in such locations as the Netherlands, Vietnam, the Ukraine and others. It also resulted in a Beatport exclusive release of Joman's track, "Simple Memory," featuring remixes by several artists, including Vanish himself, whose remix ended up in the top 100 charts on the site. One of Joman's remixes of LA's "Oh Shit!" - Tha Illest ft. Messinian (engineered by Solitude Studios) also managed to make the Beatport Top 100 International Electro Charts."
