Joshua was sweet 16, when he started his career as dj. First as hobby, 9 years later he made his hobby to his profession and startet to work full time as resident DJ in Graz. He was booked all over austria by famous clubs & discos, like iClub, Take Five, Bollwerk, Empire Club, Nachtschicht, Beluga, Remembar, Novembar, a.s.o. Due to these bookings and countless gigs at clubbings in austria and a broad (Kursalon Huebner/vie, Club Zimmermann/vie, Fete Blanche/Felden, Tempel Club/Linz, Bern/CH, Florenz/I, Bukarest/H, a.s.o. … ) "house-music" became his favourite style of music. He supported many "house stars" like Fedde Le Grand, Bob Sinclair, Tom Novy, Milk & Sugar, Denis The Menace, Jerry Ropero, Emma Lanford, Terri B., Tara McDonald, The Disco Boys, Sarah Main, DJ Pippi, Phats & Small, Benny Benassi, DJ Antoine, Mad Mark, Jonathan Ullysses, atb, Woody van Eyden, Tomcraft, Mr. Mike, Sergio Flores, Gordon Edge, …. but he also got inspired by them and found his own special sound. This sound is hard to discribe ……. housemusic has a wide spectrum, but J.G. always understands how to bring the party people into the right mood to dance and celebrate … says one of his very old friends. In principal it is the right mixture of "oldschool" and "top news" as well as between "commercial" and "underground" ….. the success is in the mixing ! Strongly influenced through labels like Subliminal, Defected, Hed Kandi & Fierce Angels, as well as vocalhouse from Bella Italia, mixed with funky grooves ……. thats simply Joshua Grey like … you have to love it ! Later Bernie -X, musician & producer, became part of his DJ way of live and with him they started to make their own music studio and productions. Meanwhile they are working on various remixes and own music productions. Already their first release (naked in the rain ) together with vocal house diva Terri Bjerre jumped worldwide on more than 3o compilations, for example well known Fierce Angels. They also reached no. 3 on US DMC Charts, worldwide no. 5 and entered playlist from for example Roger Sanchez, .... Following releases (need this rhythm & rue d'electrique) also rocked the clubs around the world.
