Born in 1981 in Lisbon, Dj Kaesar showed an uncanny interest for music since an early age, learning how to play musical instruments and integrating rock bands.

His first contact with the electronic music movement was in 1996, initiating the craft of dj'ing 3 years later.

His first events were in casual friends' parties, but he quickly started to play in some clubs and parties in the trance movement. His stay in the trance scene was short and he soon moved on to discover new sounds and beats, and that’s when he started to play progressive house music.

Playing progressive house offered him the opportunity to play in a number of clubs in Lisbon and in 2003, Kaesar plays in Sevilha - Spain his first International gig.

The American continent was the next step and in 2004, he went to Brazil and played in São Paulo in the Famous Club Manga Rosa and in Rio de Janeiro, in Bunker.

Again in Portugal new opportunities arise, playing in clubs like Coconuts, Alcantara -Club, Opart, Santiago Alquimista, Club Lua , Chapitô, Código Laranja, Souk, Mood, Europa, Frescuras Bar,Pavilhao de Exposiçoes do I.S.A.,Tuatara,Faculdade de Letras, Bubbles, Kubik, Patio do Sol, Semana Academica, Mexe Caphe, Sports Bar, Porto Rio, Quinta do Hilário among others.

In February of 2006 a new tour in south America is planned and Dj Kaesar, Yell And Mark Rizzo go on a journey through Brazil playing in parties and clubs such as Hot Spot - Rio de Janeiro, Hotel Flash - Santos, Zapata - Buzios, Caruna - Santos, Private - Guarujá, Mary Jane - São Paulo and in the fantastic Satori Festival in island of Mandala - Rio de Janeiro.

An invitation to play live in one of the most prestigious Radios of electronic music in Brazil - Radio Jovem Pam - gave him the opportunity to show his steamy live sets.

In the summer of 2006, Kaesar has received the invitation to join the team of the prestigious and renowned label "Open Up Records", the same label that has reached the top sales pages of several electronic music portals. 2006 was to be a very important year for Kaesar, for this was the same here when he was invited to play at the biggest South American electronic music festival, “Universo Paralelo”, where his set was acclaimed has being the biggest revelation and one of the best sets on the festival, by the internet media giant www.baladaplanet.com.br .

After the festival, Kaesar stood on the country for three months where he toured some major cities like Trancoso, where he plaid in places like the Bang-Bang, Beach Club, Espaço, Caverna, Cauim, Tostex and Lagoa Azul. In São Paulo he played in Ekletiks, Inferno, D-edge, in Rio Janeiro at Display, in Brasilia at the Ascon club and in Belo Horizonte at the Puta Madre and Major Locke

Again, in Portugal, Kaesar continued to grow and play all over the clock and the invitations were more than ever: From North to South he played everywhere and at some of the biggest and hottest spots in Portugal. Some of which : Kadok, Bubbles, Green Hill, Studio, Club da Praia, Left, Praia Albarquel, Groover, Bar do Rio, Festa do Barco, Braço Prata, Domus, Nguru Must, Atlantic spring (Ilha da Madeira), Fnac, Armazem do Chá, Queima das Fitas (Coimbra , Porto ) Espiritos Club, Hot Rio, Via Latina, Lx Factory, Linha Verde, Gare, Patio do Sol,Festival Académico,Kubik , Sushymoto,Palácio da Ajuda,Bubbles,Micro Club,Factory,Armazem F,Status, Freedom Festival,Estudio 132,Sushi Electronica,Crew Hassan,Natal Social,Underground Lisbon, etc) .

He was and still is invited by some of the most prestigious Portuguese electronic music promoters like Beluga sounds, Sonic Culture , Crush , Shift prod ,Electronic Sunrise, Kalimodjo ,Open Up Records, Caravan, Rockdacasbah , Tbookings, Spt, Stripped ,Freaky Stylish, Earth records, etc. Side by side with some of the most prestigious international and national music producers and DJs, he was invited to inaugurate several clubs and commercial spots.

His motto is to always be up to date with the new dance music styles and tendencies, so that you know that when you listen to a Dj Kaesar set you will always get something new, fresh and intelligent, that will interact and appeal to the public.

Along with his dj work, Kaesar has been spending some major time in the studio, producing his own music so he can soon present is new project, side be side with his childhood friend; together they are trying to create and show new ideas intimately connected to the minimal techno music genre and thru this sonorities, they are trying to take the “maximum out of the minimum.” ; this new project is called “MINIMETRIK” and will soon blast the dance floors all over the world.

His solo project “Kaesar” is already bearing ripe fruits, his first music releases have been edited in digital format, and vinyl print on labels like the Cyborg Crew Records, Benthic Records and Inminimax Records. Some of his future releases will be edited by Wolf Musik, Midi Sounds Records, Dub Alliance, etc.

With the electronic music’s evolution and his contact with new music styles, the need to open a sub-label of the big Open Up records came to scene and Kaesar received an invitation from his colleague and big friend Pedro Seph to create the "Beluga Sounds” label, where its first releases saw the light of the day at the end of the Summer of 2008. This project is not only a record label but also a quality event promoter, always in the lookout for new musical tendencies.

During this year, along with the European soccer championship in Switzerland, Kaesar was invited to musically represent Portugal at radio eleven, where he was also interviewed live.

In the same Summer of 2008, one of the biggest world music festivals “Boom Festival” invited Kaesar to play at the alternative stage, side by side with giant names like Kanio and Straightflash. Due to his massive performance there, he received several invitations to play outside the country in places like Israel, Germany and France and so his tour to places like Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Berlin, Tubingen and Paris soon became a reality.

After a big summer full of important events and professional achievements, Kaesar was invited for several magazine interviews, a recognition of his importance in the music scene. He interviewed for magazines like DanceClub and Visions Mag and for radio stations like Antena 3, Radio Oestes, Radio Oxigenio and for the well-known national TV show Dance TV, from the Sic Radical national TV station.

In 2009, Kaesar continued to play all over the country and he is fully booked almost all year round. He also continues to be an important presence in the big electronic music summer festivals, again having played in the 2009 edition of Freedom Festival, Sinergia, Blissfull and continued to produce his own music, with great feedback from the public and the record labels, in general.

In the year of 2009, Kaesar plans to open his own label “Lucky Dice” and to join forces with four other big national music producers (Mikalogic, Nuno Ramos, Ruca and Pedro Zoy). They are giving birth to a new concept and a new form of partnership. This gathering is called the Dub Alliance and the aim is for them to be able to grow together and to support each other musically, so they can all evolve and learn, as well as create a new electronic music concept; in 2009 Kaesar was also invited to integrate the booking team of the world renowned Boom Festival.

Nowadays, Kaesar defines himself as a Techno music artist, with many Tech House influences. Recurring to the use of the old detroid chords, those are the sonorities that better define this Dj.

Biografia DJ Kaesar Nascido em Fevereiro de 1981 em Lisboa, DJ Kaesar desde cedo mostra interesse pela musica, tendo se dedicado a aprendizagem de alguns instrumentos, bem como ingressando num projecto musical no principio dos anos 90.

O seu primeiro contacto com a musica e o movimento electronico deu-se em 1996, iniciando-se tres anos depois no djing. Tendo os seus primeiros eventos sido festas de amigos.

Logo se estreou actuando em festas e alguns clubs do movimento trance. Posteriormente optou pelo estilo progressive house o qual lhe proporcionou actuar em varios clubs de Lisboa. Em 2003 da-se a primeira saida do paÌs para Sevilha, Espanha.

Em 2004 experimenta o continente Americano, indo actuar em Sao Paulo no Manga Rosa e no Rio de Janeiro na Bunker, dois clubs bem conhecidos em ambas cidades Brasileiras.

De regresso a Portugal começa a actuar em festas e clubs tais como; Coconuts, Opart; Santiago Alkimista; Chapito; Codigo Laranja;Pavilhao de exposiçoes ;Souk; Mood; Tuatara; Alcantra club; Europa; Garage; Opart; W; Queens; Kremlin; Fabrica da Polvora; Charles ;Frescuras Bar; Sports Bar; Quinta do Hilario,Club Lua, Tamariz ,Mercado etc…

Em 2006 Surge o convite para o Brasil mas desta vez para uma tour de tres meses, juntamente com os djs Mark Rizzo e Yell, actuando em varios lugares tais como; Hot Spot – Rio de Janeiro; Hotel Flash – Santos; Zapata – Buzios; Caruna – Santos; Private – Guaruja; Mary Jane – Sao Paulo e no fantastico Festival Satori em Angra dos Reis – Rio de Janeiro. Foi Tb convidado a actuar em directo na Radio Jovem Pam de Santos uma das mais prestigiadas radios de musica electronica do Brasil.

No verao de 2006 recebeu o convite para integrar na equipa da prestigiada e reconhecida label “Open up Records “, label esta que por varias vezes atingiu o top de vendas com as suas ediçoes em alguns dos melhores sites mundiais de venda de musica electronica.

Foi tambem nesse mesmo ano convidado para ir tocar ao mais conceituado festival da America do sul , ....Universo Paralello....,onde o seu set foi aclamado como um dos melhores do festival pela critica da www.baladaplanet.com.br .

Depois deste mesmo Kaesar ficou tres meses pelo brasil viajando pelo pais do samba e actuando em varias cidades como Trancoso, onde passou em lugares como Bang-Bang; Beach club; Espaço; Caverna; Cauim; Tostex e lagoa azul. Kaesar tem vindo neste momento tambem a trabalhar bastante em estúdio pra que possa em breve apresentar o seu projecto juntamente com um amigo de infancia, juntos querem mostrar novas ideias atraves de sonoridades bastante ligadas ao techno minimal, ou seja desta forma tirar do ....minimo o maximo..... Projecto esse que tem como titulo ....MINIMETRIK..... Seu projecto a solo (Kaesar) também tem dado bastantes frutos tendo sido editadas as primeiras músicas em formato digital e vinyl por labels como Cyborg Crew Records, Benthic records e Inminimax records, futuros releases serão editados pela Wolf Musik, Midi Sounds Records,Dub Alliance,etc.

Com a evolução da música e o contacto com os novos estilos viu-se também com a necessidade de abrir sub-label da Open Up, este mesmo convite surgiu novamente do seu colega e grande amigo Pedro Seph, a mesma intitula-se de ....Beluga Sounds.... onde os primeiros releases serão lançados no final do verão de 2008 ,juntamente com as primeiros originais desta dupla. Beluga Sounds não é só uma label mas tambem produtora de eventos, procurando sempre novas tendências musicais.

Com o decorrer do campeonato europeu de futebol na Suiça, Kaesar foi convidado pra representar Portugal musicalmente na rádio eleven onde dará também uma entrevista em directo para a mesma rádio Suiça.

No verão de 2008 dá-se o grande e mundialmente conhecido evento musical Boom , como não poderia deixar de ser Kaesar foi convidado a actuar na pista alternativa ao lado de nomes como Kanio e Straightflash. Devido à sua enorme prestação neste mesmo evento surgiram convites pra ir actuar a Israel , Alemanha e França, onde irá actuar em cidades como Tel Aviv , Jerusalem, Berlim , Tubingen e Paris.

Após um verão cheio de importantes eventos e realizações a nível profissional e pessoal Kaesar é convidado a dar várias entrevistas pra revistas como Danceclub mag, Visions mag e Culture mag, sendo seu trabalho tambem reconhecido em importantes estações de rádio nacionais como Antena 3 , Rádio Oeste e Oxigénio e para o já conhecido programa nacional televisivo Dancetv a encargo da Sic Radical.

O ano de 2008 foi um ano cheio de realizações pessoais e novas conquistas, o ano dos seus primeiros releases, para 2009 Kaesar reserva muitas surpresas, focando-se essencialmente na produção e realização de vários eventos que tem vindo a planear ao decorrer do tempo assim como a abertura da sua própria label (Lucky Dice). Projectos surgem, assim como o conceito Dub Alliance ,que consiste na junção de 5 produtores nacionais (Mikalogic; Nuno Ramos; Ruca ; Pedro Zoy e Kaesar) ajudando-se motuamente a nível musical para que desta forma todos possam evoluir e criar um novo conceito e espectro electrónico é tambem convidado a integrar a equipa de bookings do mundialmente conhecido Boom Festival.

Kaesar define-se hoje num estilo mais Techno com bastantes influências de Tech House , recorrendo aos antigos chords de detroid, sendo estas as sonoridades que mais caracterizam este Dj.
