I could go on pretty much all day. | | Heroes | I don't really believe in the concept of a Hero. I think the concept of heroism is flawed, in that we tend to acknowledge the Hero or Heroine in and of themselves, when it is in fact the deeds and accomplishments that are worthy of devotion and admiration. Credit where credit is due, of course: I can admire anyone who does great and noble things, but I am uncomfortable having a "Hero". In the end, it seems a bit too much like a way to relieve oneself of the burden of trying to accomplish great things on your own. |
