Well, let’s see shall we. :) I’m a 28 year old turntablist/ producer/ baby maker. I use the love I have for my daughters and my family to make my music. Without them this stuff probably would sound boring. Been in the hip-hop scene since 1996 contributing in dj battles in the late 90’s ’til about ’03 with 2 San Diego Spin-off titles. Introduced to making beats by Dj Egadz. This is where I found myself and what I wanted to do in life. I started in dj battling 97 and had been preparing for battles every year but found a new love in making beats. So I had the idea of creating instrumental music. I’ve always wanted to hear instrumental tunes with dope cuts. So in 2002 I started in the production of my albums. Thank the Lord that I found it really easy and lots of fun making beats! Also with some inspiration i came up with a way to perform my music live with bring half of my studio to shows, MPC & turns etc etc etc... 2003 Tomato Radio was created. It was a test for myself to see what kind of a response I would get from people rather then busting out a scratch routine or beat juggling. The outcome was a larger response than the dj battling. I then decided to attack the hip-hop scene and try to build. "got kechup?" was my next album. A great volume 2 to what I was trying to do. More beats, more cuts, over all strong enough to be my second coming. That was in 2004-2005. Since then tours with Josh Martinez-Anticon-Egadz-Rehab Hymn, shows in SD with all big name performers, projects, networking, and still striving to build! IMP "instra-Mental Patients" is my newest EP project and was my tour cd for 2008 when i joined MC Chris from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force/Adult Swim. It dives over to the instrumental side a little more than "got kechup?" but when I listen to it, it makes me feel real happy. That must be a good sign, yeah? I have another project coming real soon, my next full length album that's pretty close to already being done "Village of Hidden Beats". All I can say is a lot of really good music coming your way. I come from a world where the murals of the dead adorn all of your senses and a leisurely drive to the corner bodega is a daily reminder of our mortality. Most days I feel numb from the losses.
