Currently hailing from the Big Easy (aka New Orleans), DJ KEMISTRY has quickly become infamous for his ultra high energy party rocking style of mixing. With a deep love for all music, his unique brand of hip hop is infused with hints of rock, pop, 80's and electro house to achieve one mission, putting bodies on the dance floor. His self written remixes and blends are coveted by other DJ's everywhere but most remain unreleased to make his live appearances truly one of a kind. In a DJ KEMISTRY set you will hear so many tracks mixed together your iPod might get jealous.
Whether it's his ever evolving arsenal of music or the influence he has left on the local scene; he has quickly became the go to dj for every big event and concert in the area. Among playing for companies such as Guess Clothing and Saks Fifth Avenue he was called upon by Citadel Broadcasting to bring his talents to the one hip-hop station in Baton Rouge, Max 94.1. During his 2 years performing a daily live mix shows, he gained praise and local celebrity status among the 35,000+ students of the notorious party school LSU. Still to this day he remains a power house among the clubs there packing the people in when he plays.
As a founding member of Force Feed Radio [along with DJ Jive] they have created a fusion of classic pop, hip hop, indie, and dance blends. As their motto goes "From Led Zepplin to Lil Jon" the Force Feed Radio agenda is to introduce the public to something more creative than regular radio play. The duo takes matters into their own hands to "force feed" the indie and underground music of tomorrow to the masses today.
Always looking to the future and developing new ways to express him self through music he has found success in the exploding popularity of music video mixing. "As Seen On TV" is the label stamped on this visually stimulating performance created by KEMISTRY and video mixing partner DJ Digital. With limited sets available, these rare video performances have been in high demand across the country for venues with hi-tech video capability.
Currently playing over 260+ nights a year he is clearly the next big star in the nightclub circuit. His residencies have included: Harrah's Casino New Orleans (Masquerade), The Metropolitan, Republic, The Palms Ultra Lounge, Hostel, LePhare, The Mezzanine and 600 Main. With his humble background and versatile sound DJ KEMISTRY is more than ready to bring his style to new arenas. From the airwaves to the club, DJ KEMISTRY's goal is to put bodies in motion, hands in the air, and leave the crowds begging for more.
Some of my influences as a DJ are first and foremost...DJ NEW ORLEANS...he showed me how to be a "real" DJ and I look up to him for that...Some others in no specific order are DJ Spider, DJ Spryte, DJ AM, DJ Scene and any other DJ who pushes the envelope and has a love and appreciation for music!!
