Ecuadorian architect, musician, photographer, Enrique (KIK) Villacis Tapia is
the conscience of a citizen of the world with a strong South American identity.
KIK is the leader of runka an Ecuadorian multidisciplinary team of artists that
produces mixed media art since 1997.
Dj since 2000 producing mix sets, remixes and original tracks based on South
Americas traditional art. His mix sets always challenge the audience by exposing
them to unexpected sounds.
Currently living and performing in Philadelphia (USA).
KIKs mixing style: ecleKtrico: eclectic + electronic, including genres like:
electro, minimal techno/house, deep techno/house, and of course: electro andean/tango/bosa/latin
DJing is like creating a collage, a collage of sounds. DJing is like painting
with music.
