MySpace a place for friends

Put into the conservatory before she could even write, K-mi has always had a passion for music. First with classical, then moving on to jazz as a teenager, she continues developing her sense of rhythm and harmony. It is in 2002 that she goes to her first DnB party. She is immediatly taken by the power and energy of this music.
After three years of drum and bass partying, a DJ friend gives her the keys to his appartment so that she can go learn to mix on his decks, finding it obvious that she should go into Djing given her musical capabilities. A few weeks later, she buys her first set of decks. A few months after, K-mi meets the Parisian crew Quality Beats, who after hearing her spin at a house party, immediately take her into the crew. Together, they have been organising parties in Paris Venues. Soon after, she creates a second crew with DJ Harrymassive, Liquid Lab, dedicated to liquid drum and bass. They start to hold a monthly Jungle/ Drum and Bass party where the best DJs of the French scene have been coming to share their groove for over a year.
She is soon noticed by the leaders of the French Drum and Bass scene. Impressed by the funky selection and stage presence of the youngest French female DJ, she is invited to play in the biggest Parisian clubs like Batofar and Tryptique (former Social Club, alongside DJ Aphrodite) for the Here I Come parties organized by the X-Ray Production Crew, or Glaz'art with the Macrobass and I love Jungle Crews.

She has also been invited to play abroad this year, in China with Chinese DMC champion DJ Wordy and in Bulgaria for the HMSU Open Air Summer Festival along Djs like Dillinja and Dieselboy.

She is more and more demanded, and is now going into the production of Breakbeat and Hip-Hop. Watch out for this up and coming cheeky lady!
