Get ready for a hot summer in Las Vegas! Comin’ at you from the town that tried to ban hip hop all together; will host this year’s National Hip Hop Political Convention. This biennial event brings together activists, scholars, writers, artists, and artist to address a Hip Hop political agenda. Newark was the host of the first convention back in 2004, then Chicago took the reins in 2006; this year Las Vegas is the host of this historic event. 2008 is a crucial year….we don’t have to tell you how much is riding on this year’s election.
So July 28 – Aug. 3…it’s going down in Vegas!
The NHHPC is the largest gathering of Hip Hop generation, social justice activists and artists. Join the thousands who will be making their way to Vegas for this year’s convention.
