Something you'll never hear before, but wonder who or what it is.
I'm a one man show. No need for additives. My name is Visham, AKA; Dj Kraz, Kraz, PurpZ. I've been doing the whole DJ thing since I was 9 yrs old (Do the math). I guess some would say I started out young. I blame it on my brother, Da Vishous One. I started out learning how to scratch, being that was the cool thing not many people knew how to do that in my teen years. I then began started out blending tracks together as would any Dj usually does. I practiced on early 90's house, electronica, and jungle beats. I can tell you that the beats are amazing. I give mad props to all. So for the past several years I've become a mobile Dj. For those of you who don't know what a mobile dj is. It's a Dj who travels from place to place Dj a few yrs here and there. Not really sure if that the real definition of it, but yeah. Recently my brother and I purchased CD turntables. Talk about a change in reality and the whole of turntablism. It's amazing what these things can do. So I've been drawing myself towards a new horizon. Making beats and writing music/songlyrics or whatever. I find that writing is a good release. I've also devised a new way to make beats. Using samples from a few songs and laying them down on one track! I'm all about spinning whatever people want because I'm a big fan of all music genres. OH! HIRE ME IF YOU NEED A DJ!

Berni-Rare B-Sides I was chilling out with some friends last Sunday afternoon when me & my buddy decided to crack open a couple of crates, dust off some old classics & spin some of that old wax just for the hell of it. Taking it in turns to try & out do each other.... it wasn't long before we we're straying away from the main mixes & going into obscure B-Side / Remix territory. A lot of fun discovering some old gold, not to mention some REALLY flakey remixes by some now BIG DJ's ; ) I picked my top 10 favourites of the session & decided to make this hour long retro mix with a twist. All tracks are recorded from the original 12" Vinyls which have seen toooooo many parties & most of them are 15-20 plus years old so expect some surface noise especially on the intros which wear down the fastest / get most abuse. Pretty much a straight mix with only a tad of digital f**king with. Great for an after hours trainspotting session or late night groove on ; ) You can hear / download it here...crackles & all.... www.djberni.com Genre's - House (all kinds), Breakbeat (when it was still part of a house track), Other (inspiration for all the others).
