Bio:

Kuntact aka Filipe Silva 29 years old, was born in Lisbon ( Portugal), living actually in Guarda City, Filipe started very young listened to heavy metal music and becoming a true fan of it, but he also had a big feel for electronic music due to his brother and friends. Filipe discovered his big passion for Psychedelic music in the year 2000, in the same year he started to collect lots of psy music and started playing for fun in some clubs/bars and private parties, with all kinds of electronic music. He started playing as a professional trance dj in 2002 and worked hard to go far with his own goals. He was always searching and growing in the scene in Portugal , and through these good and small gatherings, some of the new young talents from Portugal were discovered, and one of them was Filipe aka Dj Kuntact. Dj Kuntact started to play in big partys and Festivals in 2004. In the year 2005 he joined Sindar Productions (www.sindarpsy.org) from Spain and started playing outside of Portugal. With his reputation climbing at this time he received in 2006 an invitation from Digital Oracle Crew, which is a Sub-Label of the biggest label in Portugal “Crystal Matrix” and that was a big expansion for him. Crystal Matrix is one of the top Promoters and highly recommended by all artists in the world. Like “all” new young artists have a dream, Dj kuntact had one also, joining one international and powerfull label and that dream came true in 2007, when Filipe was invited to Join 3D Vision Records (www.3dvisionrecordings.com), one of the best labels around the world in the psy scene to become part of the dj team. Currently he is one of the biggest Portuguese promises in the Psytrance scene, performing in major National and International events, like the Freedom Festival, Existence Festival, Psybertech Festival, Sinergia Festival (this last one Produced by BOOM CREW & Quest4Goa). Kuntact has performed with “all” well known artists side by side, artists such as, Infected Mushroom - Astrix - Skazi - GMS - Talamasca – Absolum - Shift - Azax Syndrom - Eskimo – Astral Projection - Abomination - Xerox & Illumination - Psycraft - Sirius Isness - Vibe Tribe - Alien Project - PTX - NRS - Scorb - Ram - Inner Action - Black&White - Tikal - Painkiller - Twisted System - Space Cat - Menog, to name few, among many many others, and have been in countries has Spain and Italy. KUNTACT é Filipe Silva, Dj Português nascido em Lisboa em 1982, reside actualmente na Cidade da Guarda.
Kuntact começou a sua carreira como Dj profissional em 2002, desde aí não tem parado de surpreender o público com uma excelente selecção musical e técnica de mistura aliadas a uma óptima presença em palco, começando a participar em eventos nacionais de grande dimensão e em 2005 é convidado a fazer parte de um projecto espanhol, Sindar Productions.
Com a sua carreira a ganhar notoriedade, Filipe foi convidado a ingressar no roster de artistas da Crystal Matrix, uma das maiores promotoras de eventos de música Trance nacional e famosa pelo evento de renome Freedom Festival. Em 2006, esta aliança consagrou-se e Kuntact passou a ser oficialmente um artista da Crystal Matrix/Digital Oracle tendo uma presença assídua nos seus eventos.
Mas a sua ascensão não parou aí, devido à sua excelente técnica e profissionalismo, Kuntact recebeu um convite para ingressar na famosa 3D Vision Records, label Francesa de grande influência na cena Trance mundial e editora de alguns dos mais reconhecidos artistas mundiais. Kuntact passou assim a estar aliado, não só à maior label nacional como a uma das maiores labels internacionais.
Sendo presença habitual nos maiores eventos nacionais, o seu full-on nocturno/hi-tech é do agrado de maior parte do público Trance e Filipe é considerado um dos melhores Dj nacional, se não o mais carismático dentro do seu estilo.
Esta crescente notoriedade proporcionou-lhe a hipótese de marcar presença em diversos eventos internacionais, tendo já visitado profissionalmente Espanha, Itália, África do Sul e França e participado em eventos de calibre mundial como o Freedom Festival, Existence Festival, Psybertech Festival, Sinergia Festival entre muitos outros, actuando ao mesmo nível com diversos artistas de renome internacional.
O futuro apresenta-se promissor para este jovem talento, que prima pelo seu profissionalismo, técnica e presença em palco bem como pelo seu estilo musical característico e enérgico, que não deixa nenhum dancefloor indiferente.
Uma actuação de Kuntact é um espectáculo de boa selecção musical, profissionalismo e energia que tem facultado momentos de pura diversão ao púbico Trance.
