DJ Lalka currently lives in Las Vegas, NV. In 2006, he was among a select few chosen to perform at the first ever Las Vegas Music Conference/Star 69 Records amongst hundreds of headlining DJs such as Rabbit in the Moon, Matt Darey, Starkillers and Richard Vission.
Some of DJ Lalka's other accomplishments in Las Vegas include a current weekly residency at the Downtown Cocktail Room(www.downtownlv.net), monthly performances at Foundation Room, Aruba hotel,Thunderbird Lounge, Brass Lounge, as well as several private parties.
With a style ranging from deep sexy jazz house to a more funky jackin type house DJ Lalka can read the crowd to what they enjoy.
2008 has been a great year for DJ Lalka. Starting up his own production company, entitled Speak ez(www.myspace.com/speakezlv). The release of his first produced track. He teamed up with Carlos Sanchez and produced 'Crickets' which can be found at www.myspace.com/speakez. The release of 'Deepression' a 80 minute mix of Deep and Funky House with Jazz elements infused. Also picking up 2 residencies.
Currently, DJ can be found Friday nights for Happy Hour at the Downtown Cocktail Room. Which mainly focuses on Downtempo, Trip Hop, Jazz, Acid Jazz and House.
