Dj Lik was born in Athens..His musical interest has appeared really early when at the age of 6 he was already attending piano and theory of music lessons..until the age of 18 he spent 12 years studying piano,synthesizers,guitar and continuing into jazz harmony and advanced theoritical lessons.By this time he was collecting all the soundz around and he was involved in many bands where he was creating a lot of songs in many styles from punk rock to ambient and was perfoming live occasionally.Also he had already got his first PC where he was creating in early sequencers a kind of dance music.As a natural sequence after finishing high school he continued at a musical technology and sound engineering college where he attended lessons for 3 years.During these years he followed the dance era and he totaly moves into progressive music.He meets U-Nik ,who was already a dj and together they start to create progressive trance and house music and also build their Figment Studios still based at Athens.Nowadays Dj Lik & U-Nik have released Eps at labels such Piso Records,X-List Records,SK Supreme Records,Quantized Music and been part at compilations from Hypo=espresso Records and NRG Records.Also Dj Lik started to mix in small venues and he creates with some other dj friends his first event management crew..The road had opened and soon Dj Lik find himself playing at many events and venues.After many years organising events in Athens Dj Lik has created the Seduction team ,which rocked Athens floors for 2 years and boosted Dj Lik @ the bigger Venues..Now after 10 years he found himself playing at venues like : +Soda,LuV,The Hall,Motel,Bossa Nostra,Plus-X,Danza,Fetisch,Wild Rose,Vanilla,Paris Club,Stereo Club,Pulse Club,Bord de Leau,Mirroir,Playroom,Funky Buddha,Wunderbar,Mezcal,Motel,Samaka,Paradise Club,Ammos Beach,Cinema Club and more and shared dexx with many djs like Dave Seaman,Jimmy Van M,Milk+Sugar,Miss Yetti,Michel De Hey,D-Nox & Beckers,Nathan Coles,Oliver Klein,Justin Drake,Peace Division,RedHead,Son Kite/Minilogue,Tim Healey,Coburn,Marc O Tool,Emok,Freq,Anti,Atmos,Greg Coyle,Pilliavin+Zimbardo,Markantonio,Scarlett Etienne and more .
Dj Lik has created the following events in Athens Clubs and around Greece in the past 10 years : Digital Grooves,Wake Up,Seduction and Bizarre.Dj Lik sound is a mix of all his influences , from tech house to techno,from minimal to neo trance all mixed in a journey through sounds !
