Holding down numerous residencies in and around the Austin area for over nine years, releasing many solid mix cds, as well as helping organize many events; has solidified Lucas as a staple in the Austin electronic music scene, and has pushed him to the forefront as one of Texas's leading house DJ's. For over nine years Lucas, at the head of the prominent organization BucklUp Entertainment, has helped recruit, promote, and showcase other artists, while organizing their own events as well as contributing to other organizations within the scene.
While keeping BucklUp in progress, Lucas has established the sound that defines what to expect from his live DJ sets through numerous mix cds and producing. Joining up with long time friend Chris Cortinas to produce under "Cortinas & Wade, " has proven to be the dominating force in Lucas's musical expression. The Duo topped charts with their first remix release "Superstar," and have continued to release chart hitting remixes and originals. Their sound has been a very broad range of house, which is showcased in the music they produced in the past. In the last year though their sound has evolved into something they call "EPIC FUNK."
