On the vocal side: My mother, Lillie Betts (thank God I got her genes!); my wife, Christen (she's an amazing singer and songwriter); and most recently, my church's youth pastor, Shane Sowers. If you've ever heard of the bands Junker Jorg or the hip hop artist Kaimana, you've heard Shane. I had never thought about doing worship music until I met him. He's definitely a big influence on me.

Entering his 15th year behind the decks, Disciple13 has truly run the gamut of styles. Starting at the tender age of 18 with hip hop, Disciple13 eventually embraced electronic music as his true passion. Beginning with House and Trance, moving over to Drum n Bass to Progressive and finally to Breaks, Disciple13 has amassed an impressive collection of vinyl and mixes over the years.
Until March 17, 2006, Disciple13 was known as DJ:lynx, and before that, Overdrive. He has recorded several mix cd's and is currently at work on an artist album as well as starting a record label.
He also hosts a weekly online radio show on NSB Radio called Beatnik Beats. You can catch it Saturday nights from 8-10pm MST (3-5am GMT).
