Io, Francesco Magnifico, alias Dj Magny (aka JiZmO), mi sono appassionato alla musica in tenera età e tale pasione si è sviluppata nel tempo a 360 gradi spaziando dal Jazz alla Techno. Ho imparato inizialmente a suonare le tastiere guidato da sonorità electro - pop quali quelle dei New Order, Depeche Mode e Pet Shop Boys raggiungendo una discreta tecnica che mi ha permesso di cimentarsi anche come pianista Blues, altro genere molto amato. Ho cominciato a fare il Dj quasi per gioco con mio cugino Nicola sul finire degli anni '90 sull'onda della Progressive , genere dal quale sono stato letteralmente stregato e che mi ha influenzato per tutti gli anni a venire. Attualmente prediligo Techno, Trance, Handsup, Hardstyle e Lento Violento, genere il cui massimo esponente è, senza tema di smentita, il maestro Gigi D'Agostino, di cui tra l'altro sono un grandissimo fan. Attualmente collaboro con il progetto MOViMENTOLENTO portato avanti da due importanti produttori del panorama dance italiano, Carlo Oliva e Thomas Prioli. Alcune mie produzioni sono presenti sulle compilation MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.1, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.2, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.3, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.4, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol. 5 e insieme alla musica di tanti altri validissimi artisti nonchè amici ;). Per il resto...siamo in continua evoluzione...in continuo movimento...lento...violento...stay tuned! ;)
My name is Francesco Magnifico, alias Dj Magny (aka JiZmO). I fell in love with music when i was very very young and this passion grew in time sorrounding every kind of music from Jazz to Techno. I learned to play keyboards by myself listening to electro - pop bands like Order , Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys becoming quite skilled so i can play the piano in a Blues band. (I really love blues too). In the end of 90's, lead by Progressive music, genre that definitely made me lose my mind ;), i started to play music as a Dj with my cousin Nicola.
Now i really like above all Techno, Trance, Handsup and Lento Violento, a new genre whose greatest composer and dj is definitely "The Master" Gigi D'Agostino who i follow everywhere as i am a great fan! I'm collaborating with the MOViMENTOLENTO project, started by two important producers of the italian dance world, Carlo Oliva and Thomas Prioli. Some my productions are present on MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.1, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.2, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.3, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol.4, MOViMENTOLENTO Vol. 5 compilation with a lot of amazing tracks from really great artists and friends ;).
