A 25 ans, Maia K est une des DJs les plus convoitées de sa génération et s..inscrit sans conteste parmi les révélations du moment. Attention, la « New French Touch » arrive ! Dans un monde où l..hégémonie masculine règne en maître, la jolie et dynamique Maia a su imposer sa vibe électro créant bien souvent la surprise. Derrière les platines, cette DJ hors normes fait le show. Le public vient l..écouter mais aussi la voir. Et il faut la voir pour le croire ! Depuis septembre 2006, la célèbre radio FG lui a donné un mix hebdomadaire : « My Sound Session », tous les mercredis de 2h à 3h et Antoine Baduel, (pdg de la station, ndlr) la reçoit régulièrement dans son célèbre show radio « Happy Hour ». Outre ses régulières « Elektro Sessions » sur les dance-floors français et internationaux, Maia K sort ses premières productions électroniques avec son team ( Ze Kollectif) composé des remarquables DJs-producers HYSTERIK POP, sous la houlette de SAMY K. Actuellement, c..est « Ghost Town » qui sévit sur les dance-floors mais la grosse déferlante électro est annoncée courant mai avec la sortie de « Get down », un titre ultra efficace déjà joué par de nombreux DJs. D..autres opus sortiront successivement jusqu..à la fin d..année pour donner naissance au 1 er album de Maia K prévu pour 2008. Outre les titres d..HP vs Maia K, on y retrouvera des productions des excellents Songe Black mais aussi de Tee Paul, Dfaxx ou encore Pana, jeune talentueux compositeur de musique électronique à tendance world.

It is during her last year at high school in 2002 that she started mixing, along with DJ Hostil (Hip Hop) and Sven Love (Resident Cheers). A few months later, while on holidays in Mexico, she met two event organizers who offer her to be the supporting act for the evening of the coop of DJs Africanism (Matt Samo and Bibi) in front of 6.000 people. It was so successful that Maïa became resident at the Pacha in Naples, Italy. And thats when it all really started
Little by little she became well known in Parisian night events. She has been performing in the most famous clubs of the city, such as the Red Light, the Studio 287, the Folie's Pigale, the Loco, the Fabrique, the Redlight, the Milliardaire. She is among the rare Djs who can perform both garage or house mixes, progressive electro or Tech House.
Allowing to strong demand abroad for more than a year, Maïa has been performing more abroad than in France. Shes been mixing in Holland for Queens Day, in Switzerland, in Italy, in Luxemburg, in Germany, in Tunisia, in the Islands of Reunion and Guadeloupe, in St Marino, in Mexico, at Acapulco, at Las Vegas, at Tokyo, in Brazil, in Corsica, etc.
