I'm an Old Skool DJ. I spin "Grown Folks" music! Resident night club DJ, in NorCal. Founding member of 80's Rnb group The Timex Social Club. Co-writer of the hit single "Rumors", with Mike Marshall and Alex Hill. 1986, toured with RUN DMC.
About me: Since 1979, I have been a DJ/Songwriter and Producer. The first mixtape I made was in Jr. High School....using a "Pause Button" on a Realistic (Radio Shack) tape deck. I actually broke the pause buttons on 2 tape decks before I got my first Turntable and mixer in High School.
From Djing, I progressed to songwriting and in 1983-I and 2 friends worte the.......#1 hit single "RUMORS" and formed the TIMEX SOCIAL CLUB. In less than 2 months, we found ourselves on tour with RUN DMC, LL COOL J, WHODINI and BEASTIE BOYS...as the opening act for the historic RAISING HELL TOUR-1986.
Some of the the venue's we performed at: MADISON SQUARE GARDEN (NYC.), OAKLAND COLISEUM (OAKLAND, CA.), ASTRO WORLD (HOUSTON, TX.), JOE LEWIS AREA (DETROIT, MI.), CAPITOL CENTER(LANDOVER, MD.) BLAISDELL ARENA (Honolulu, HI)...just to name a few.
I retired from the music buiness in 1992, but since I love music, I have returned to my first love of DJing. You can catch me at The Lime Light (Fairfield, CA): Friday and Saturday nites and at private parties in and around Sacramento - SF/OAK Bay Area.
