Mark Voxx é hoje um dos grandes nomes da dance scene nacional, e o seu trabalho conta já com grande repercussão internacional fruto da sua faceta artística enquanto produtor.

Desde tenra idade a música é algo de muito forte e intensa na vida de Mark Voxx. Faz parte da sua essência e é desta forma que gosta de comunicar com os outros. O seu caminho é idêntico a dezenas de tantos outros Djs.

Primeiro como DJ residente, depois sendo convidado como freelancer para tocar em diversos clubs e em grandes eventos, carregando actualmente nas suas malas mais de 15 anos de experiência como DJ. Durante este período teve o privilégio de tocar em alguns dos melhores clubs nacionais.

À medida que o DJ ia sendo reconhecido, o produtor começava a nascer. Em 2005, inicia-se na produção e em 2006 dá-se a conhecer ao mundo lançando no mercado o seu primeiro trabalho discográfico de originais, em formato vinil, com os temas “We” e “Out of Space”.

Nos anos seguintes, Mark Voxx alcança notoriedade, em Portugal e no Estrangeiro, graças às suas produções, sendo que algumas delas foram top de vendas e receberam enorme destaque pelas mãos dos melhores Djs & Produtores mundiais.

Torna-se num dos valores da nova geração de produtores nacionais, e sob a sua mão, funda em 2007 a sua editora: 100 Miles Records, que está presente nos sites mais conceituados a nível mundial de distribuição e venda de músicas na Internet.

Os trabalhos editados pela sua editora espelham a sua versatilidade enquanto DJ/Produtor, abrangendo vários estilos dentro do conceito da música electrónica, indo desde o House Comercial ao Electro, passando pelo Progressivo, Minimal e Techno.

Como produtor firma o seu nome no mercado através de uma mão cheia de remisturas para grandes produtores e labels mundiais e também pelo lançamento de diversos trabalhos pela sua label, sendo o mais recente, a edição neste mês de Outubro do seu álbum de originais “Twelve 12” em formato CD unmixed.

Actualmente Mark Voxx divide-se entre o Djing e a produção, e prepara-se para iniciar a tour de promoção ao CD “Twelve 12”, que irá percorrer Portugal de Norte a Sul, contando também com datas já agendadas para o Estrangeiro.

Mark voxx foi já nomeado 3 vezes para alguns dos melhores melhores awards nacinais tais como, dj revelaçao 2007 pelas revistas Noite.PT e Portugalnight, e ainda este ano ja contou com a nomeaçao para melhor dj nacional 2008 pela radio comercial..

Mark Voxx is a DJ and Producer from the North of Portugal born in 1978. Music is something very strong and intense and it is part of Mark Voxx.. essence, indeed, as a human being, he enjoys communicating through music. From a very early age he has shown skills and interest to become part of the amazing music world.
Later on, he founded a band with some friends where he performed both as a vocalist and as a guitarist.

While he still performed in his band, as a fifteen-year-old high school student, he started playing music just for fun. Simultaneously, he kept close contact with a friend who was a DJ at a Disco he used to go to.
From then on, his senses strongly awakened to Dance Music and Mark Voxx started to give his firsts steps as a DJ.
One year later, Mark Voxx was invited to become a resident in a bar where he worked for five years. Most probably it was at this stage that Mark Voxx felt that he was born as a DJ.
Contradicting the bar..s managers and some of the clients, he started to play House Music. Nevertheless, surprisingly enough, they soon started to enthusiastically enjoy Mark Voxxs choices.

To Mark Voxx , this has been a catalyst to keep on exploring the dynamics of House Music.
DJ Vibe, Danny Tenaglia and Erick Morillo are Mark Voxx..s outstanding references as far as DJ..s are concerned.

He has shared his booth with names of the greatest impact on the national and internacional Djing.

DJ Mark Voxx has has also participated as a resident in a radio show where the best contemporary Dance Music was played. The best national and international DJs were also involved in this project.

This DJ..s musical style can be qualifed through sound that ranges from House Vocal, Progressive House, Tribal to Hard House and Electro. Mark Voxx has always shown to be sensitive enough to the kinds of clubs and audiences he is supposed to work with.

Nowadays, Mark Voxx divides his work attention between Djing and Production.
He has produced originals and remixes themes, some of them has been recently released.
In October of 2005 was edited the original ..I Love Me I Hate Me.. by the label RoyalHouse Rec, and in July of 2006 were also released two original tracks, ..We.. and ..Out Of Space.. by the Mix-Store Rec, which have received praises by renowned internacional and national DJs/Producers.

During this year, could be expected more discography launchings, including the remix ..EVERYTHING YOU FEEL.. of TAROT dj by the Portuguese & Canadian label Emmo rec & Readymix, the ep include DJ VIBE and KOBBE remixes , sheldon romero - dirty things mark voxx remix out on iberican digital and this remix stay in top n1 downloads,and my new album cd ....twelve 12 .... out soon in mark voxx label 100 miles records , and among others.
