I use a proper budget setup to produce my tracks.... everything is done on my mums computer cos mine is broke, with a cheap soundcard and budget sennheiser headphones.
If you own a studio and you can let me use it for free or you have a decent pair of monitors lying around you wanna give me for free please let me know ;-)
I do most of the production in FL Studio 7 with freeware and cracked plugins and edit audio in Sound Forge, if im working with a MC i’ll use an old version of Cubase VST/32 to record vocals.
Some of the synths and effects i like to use are... RCG:Audio’s z3ta+, Dream Vortex Studio’s Nanotron, the Kjaerhaus Audio Classic Series, FL Studio’s 3xOsc, The Interrputor’s delay plugins, and allsorts of distortion/overdrive plugins.
When in comes to beats I mainly use old skool funk breaks, chopped up, distorted and mangled but I also use alot of one shot samples, especially vintage drum machine and dry acoustic drum samples.
