I started out in music at the tender age of 13 mixing on my mum and dads old hi fi stereo that had 2 tape decks and a record
player, mixing tape to tape whislt trying to scratch over the top. I began my dj love from there on in, getting a pair of turntables
and a mixer when I was 16 I started to learn the art of a being a dj. I started out mixing happy hardcore thats what I was into back then, slipmat & sy
and all that. After Perfecting the art of beat matching I got bored so I decided to challenge myself by learning how to scratch. A few years
pass and my music taste changed, Hip Hop seemed the logical progression for me after all thats where the scratching artform came from.
So at 18 I got a pair of 1210s (a scratch djs must haves) and went to town on them. learning as many scratches as possible my style became more
turntablist than dj, playing the turntable as an instrument rather than playing someone elses tunes. In 2003 I decided to start
making tunes for myself to scratch to with the aid of a keyboard workstation (yamaha motif) another 2 years passed and I churned out 15 good quality
tracks 10 of which made it to my last album/mixtape "Who is that guy" With a good response from the locals and myspace users.
I'm now working on some new tunes for 2006/07.
