There is more to me than people realize, so I've broken it down here so you can see more of what I do. Its a snapshot of my professional career. If you know of someone who could use my services, I always give a "finders bonus" to people who hook me up with events.
Whether you're throwing a huge party in a warehouse or just getting the guys together for a barbecue, I've got you covered. Weddings, Corporate Events, Proms, Sweet 16s, Semiformals... I've done them all. I can adapt to any event, any music, for any age of people. I've got all the equipment to rock any event including Speakers, Turntables, Nightclub Lighting Effects, Video Projectors and more.
I have listed Nightclub DJ seperately because it is a different world in nightlife. People hire particular DJs in nightlife because particular DJs have a good following, as opposed to DJs for Hire which are there just to play music. As a club DJ, I have worked hard to establish a reputation and gain a following, and I have also mastered the art of reading the crowd and adapting myself to fit the event. I know exactly what to play and what not to play, and how to make sure the club is bumpin' instead of suckin'.
I've been working in promotions for 6 years, and have gained a vast amount of experience. I have a full team of capable promoters and a well established network of people to pull off any event. I throw my own events, and also help people throw theirs. I focus primarily on nightclub events and parties, especially when it involves electronic music. I promote for events that I help throw, and for events that I DJ.
Need someone to do the sound for your concert, performance, or event? I've got a full-size professional mixing board, top quality mics, stands, monitors, and of course, huge ass speakers. I've got 10+ years of experience as a technical director, so rest assured that your show will go off without a hitch. DJ Maskell started out in an empty tent at Shamrockfest, playing a bangin' set of house music at full blast. By the end of his 2 hour set, he had attracted a huge crowd. Behold the power of House Music.
Shamrockfest is the largest St. Patricks celebration in the US, held at RFK Stadium in Washington DC, hosted by HiBall Events. With over 40,000 people in attendence to see 51 bands, djs, and performers on 10 stages covering the entire stadium fairgrounds, its an awesome event.
