About Matt Smallwood

Matt has been DJing and producing music since 1996 and during this time has experimented with various styles of music. Depending on when and where he is playing his sound can now range from progressive and tech house, right through to minimal and funky techno, a sign of his varied styles and versatility.

Voted as one of Carl Cox's favourite producers of 2006, Matt has enjoyed huge success on the production front with over 30 single releases on some of the World's most prestigious labels and these tracks have been included on more than 20 different dance music compilations!

He has travelled as far a-field as New Zealand, Poland, France and Ibiza over the past few years and has scheduled yours lined up for Brazil and Miami for the WMC '09. A few of his London gigs this year have included Toolroom Knights with Mark Knight, Sci - Tec with Dubfire and he will be playing for the legendary Gallery in March '09. Early '09 will also see Matt launch a very special new radio show that boasts an impressive 6 million listeners a year!

As label manager of the infamous Trackitdown.net Matt is very lucky to have the freshest and phattest music at his fingertips on a daily basis, which ensures his live sets and radio shows are always as up front as possible!
