Thanks to his personality, consistency, fluent mixing technique and unique choice of music, Matush has now become one of the most appreciated DJs on the Polish club scene. After successful releases of his own productions he gained respect also as a producer and remixer – in Poland as well as abroad.
He began his career in 1990. Then he played funk and hip-hop and won Polish scratching championship, which allowed him to take place in World DJ Mixing Championships in Rimini, Italy 96’.
In the middle of the 90’s he started to gradually change his musical preferences towards house music playing at many huge raves and cyclic events promoting the club culture. After releasing the mixed cd compilation Low Pressings Traxx and maxi-single “OFF-Limit EP”, in 2001 he recorded another single: “Latino Laif” which was soon appreciated as it was frequently played by Radiostacja and Viva Polska TV and became a cult piece on the dance-floors.
He became soon a resident DJ in such cult Warsaw clubs as Trend, Imperium Rytmu, H2O,Klatka and ZOO. His nights Call Me Baby, Fresh Friuts and Housexy
With his intriguing style, communicability and many years of experience he finds it easy to move between styles: from funky to energetic, pulsating sounds of house and progressive trance.
Matush’s ease of changing places and audiences makes him one of today’s busiest DJs in Poland. He regularly has sets alongside other stars at most of big music events in Poland, such as Instytut Energetyki, Go Play!,Water Festival, Audio River, Sunrise, Nature One, Love Parade, Lave Base or Creamfields also very crucial for him are his own productions happening onweekly basies Call Me Baby, Fresh Fruits and Housexy.
