DJ Meechie was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio except for a couple of years that he spent in Lexington & Richmond Kentucky. As a young adolescent, he was always in church however around the age of 15 he began to get involved in the streets. Whatever the streets had to offer he wanted to be a part of it from carrying guns to selling drugs. Consequently, he was incarcerated for a while because of the lifestyle he led. He did his time in prison but things were still the same. Then one-day all of a sudden Dimetrius realized that he needed to change and God started reminding him of his life as a kid in Sunday school doing different church activities. This brought joy to him; it wasnt much longer after that, that he told his partners in the street game that he was giving his life to Christ. Dimetrius began to get back in church and study the scriptures intensely. He has performed for over 500 ministries throughout the midwest area.
Dimetrius has dedicated his life & his time to Jesus Christ. With this & future upcoming CDs it is believed that he will reach many by the millions in the USA as well as all over the world. He believes that the Lord is coming soon and his reward is with Him. Everlasting life with Jesus for those who are obedient and the lake of fire for those who neglected Jesus Christ and His statutes to live by on the earth.
