MICROBRUST:Dj Microburst was born in 1981 in Gie..en close to Frankfurt/Main. He starts listen to electronic music in the beggining of the 1990th. In the age of 13 he bought his first Turntable and begin to collect records. Two years later he start Dj-ing. In spring 1997 Microburst get addicted to Drum&Bass.
RODYHO: hi im Rody, i entered music very early. In the age of 10 i started playing drums and went to music skool. 1994 I discovered electronic sounds and went to frankfurt to the first "Tunnel Rave". At the age of 16 i visited my first jungle party and was infected by the first time(1995). Arround one year later i broke my leg on a skate accident. That was the time i started performing on the mic, cause i couldn't dance anymore. :)
When the first BREAKAHOLICS party started on 29.03.2002 in the Giessener boat house, nobody has still thought at that time (Microburst, Mieze, Rodyho and Mr. Stimming)Breakaholics would be a party row. " We simply wanted to do sometimes a DnB party and we had the chance to get the boat house for the event". And because every party needs a name, we started thinking and after some beer and DnB music the connection from breakbeat and alcohol became finaly Breakaholics.
