    ...... DJ Misa got her start playing with Boston fave DJ Vinny in 1999 playing bubblegum pop, 60s mod, soul and french ye ye at the Milky Way Lounge for a night deemed Monokini. Although short lived, it was a simple start to a long term obsession. Moving to Chicago that same year, Misa began playing soul and mod records at clubs like Liars, Club Foot and Danny's. In 2002 Misa started a few long running weeklies at Club Foot - the first being INVASION! an all british music Thursday nite with many surprise guests like Steve Albini, Gavin Rossdale from Bush and Anton Newcombe from BJM. Later 2003, DJ Roadhouse joined Misa for Heavy Stereo, an indie and rock music bi-weekly that became a local mainstay for Wicker Park hipsters. In late 2003, Misa moved on to San Franciso and started Sugar Walls at Arrow Bar, playing new wave, 80s, electro and pop dance grooves. Returning to Chicago in 2006, she met her soon to be DJ partner, Campfire Jay. They quickly quelled their musical styles and DJ under the moniker Kampfire Killaz. In 2007 alone they have played with Ladytron, Matt & Kim, and up and coming Chicago celebs Cool Kids. DJ Misa blends styles of electro, indie, hip hop, rock and new wave, crossing musical boundaries to please every music lover out there. Dance Dance Dance to the Radio.
