About me:

Miss Eleni is a Melbourne based dj who was drawn to the dance scene by her love of vocal house music. She developed her reputation as a quality house DJ at Melbourne's Sunday night institution Sundays@Candybar, playing smooth, sexy and uplifting vocal house every week during her three year residency there from 2004. .. In 2006 she picked up a year long weekly residency at the iconic Lotus Night at the Star Hotel (Opum Den) and was offered an invitation to play at the Omega VIP parties every night during the 2006 Commonwealth Games. She went on to play her first major, main-room, community event, alongside Australian DJ legend Mark Alsop at the 2006 ALSO Winterdaze Party and again in 2007 alongside the UK's Wayne G. .. In 2007 she began a three and a half year association with The Market Hotel. She played at special events, picked up a monthly residency on Saturday Nights and weekly residency on Friday Night's. Miss Eleni further honed her craft here delivering a signature style of upfront and cutting edge club sounds mixed with vocal house and soulful grooves. She also played alongside international guests including: DJ Spen, Eric Wikman (Deepswing) and Paul Goodyear. In January 2010 she performed alongside Frankie Knuckles at his exclusive Australian appearance and was also invited to play at his birthday party along with The Shapeshifters the following night. .. Her versatility and commitment to delivering the finest music to her audiences has seen her go on to be invited to play at the notorious Beyond Black and WoofClub parties where she delivers upfront deep, tribal and progressive house. She has gone on to play at other underground events including Dog Pound (Melb & Syd) and Dirty (Syd) and has featured as a guest at many Melbourne and Sydney venues and parties including: The Peel Dancebar, Sircuit, The Laird, Tasty (ReLoaded) and Phoenix Bar (Syd). .. Her ability to play and engage with diverse audiences in varied settings saw her reach beyond Australia and feature at the annual HERO Party in Auckland, New Zealand two years running in 2007 & 2008. In May 2009 she was invited to headline at Taboo Nightclub in Singapore and one moth later was invited to represent the City of Melbourne at the Official World Outgames Opening Party in Copenhagen, Denmark. Here, she played a mainroom, peaktime set, to a crowd of 5000 enthusiastic party goers from around the globe. She continues to feature at many outdoor festivals and community events including The Spring Migration Festival (since 2005), Daylesford's iconic Chillout Festival (2009 & 2010), Midusmma's Opening Party, T-Dance Parties and offical After-Parties in 2007, 2008 and 2009 - as well as this year's 2010 T-Dance Party where she headlined alongside Paul Heron (UK), Inaya Day (NY). .. In 2008 and 2010 she received ALSO Awards for Most Popular DJ and they now take pride of place on her speakers. .. Miss Eleni co-produced and launched her own event: EASY Underground House during the 2007 Midsumma Festival. Three years later EASY has gone on to become a fixture on the Melbourne party scene hosting some of Australia's leading underground house DJs including the legendary dj/producer Stephen Allkins [lovetatto] - exploring upfront, deep house, tech, tribal and progressive sounds - with soul - to it's loyal following. .. 2010 sees her working as a resident at The Social Bar in Windsor and embarking on a new project with fellow DJ Bryan Bergman launching: SOLACE Melbourne. SOLACE embraces a radio show on dance music radio station Kiss FM Melbourne - every Saturday from Midday (AEST) and house music events.
