If you don't already know her by name, then you’ve definitely seen her around....or heard her!! This music enthusiast has been scoping out the dance scene ever since the ripe age of fourteen. It was her first party, NASA at legendary VINYL, which forever turned Miss Lamour into a New York City girl with a serious taste for house music. “It was the first environment where I said, this is where I belong”. Through her club scene journey she evolved from raves to lounges to mega clubs….from trance to progressive to straight up funky…and she now attributes her greatest musical influences to DJ Heather, Charles Feelgood, Bob Sinclair and the infamous Body & Soul crew. It was these deejays imparticular that really made an impact on her. Their sound, energy and vision enhanced her drive to give the decks a shot. After working the door for various clubs, making invaluable connections, promoting parties and dancing the night away for years, Elena made the decision to take her love of house music to the next level. She quickly enrolled in New York’s Scratch Academy and her dream became a reality. After 4 years on the circuit she has perfected her blend of Chicago Jack, Old School House Classics and Funky Disco Cuts. She has also joined forces with Ospina Digital, Open Bar, Media Services NYC and The-Joint. Miss Lamour can be seen as a re-occuring special guest at New York's celebrated "Feel Different" parties fronted by the talented Dusko Justic. You can even check out her top ten chart on Stompy.com.
