MNIAL stands for My Name Is ALex and represents my DJ alter-ego.
My DJ profile goes back to high-school where I started a weekly radio-show covering 'classic' electronic dance music such as FSOL, Orbital, Chemical Brothers & The Prodigy. As I developed my tastes further, the program slightly evolved into Jungle/DnB 'lessons' representing my minion artists like LTJ Bukem, Adam F, Goldie, etc...
Later I continued my music explorations, focusing on atmo/techmo-spheric, drumfunk & leftfield in the first place (ASC, Paradox, Seba & (all!) Subvert Central affiliated artists & labels (too much to list)), while on the other hand, I found myself falling back for (my) old-school-broken-garage-beats & UK-wonky-rave-bass-lines (roots).
ATM I am still cutting on the edge of drum and bass, but more then ever before I am open to all 'contaminating' music out there: dub/break-step, future-techno-garage, intelligent-dub-music & other 'viral' electronica, are just the tip of the iceberg I call 'audiovirus'.

Hey Dj Mnial, The music that flows from your instruments overwhelms me with creativity. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. Your eyes are like spheres of crystal water filled with shimmering dreams. I sense wild vapors of sweet champagne in your larynx. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. In your absence I am forced into finding other forms of amusement while thinking about you. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence.
