Much respect to the industrial/EBM and hardcore heads here in the States. Mad respect to those who have been my influences over the years especially those hardcore djs coming out of The Netherlands and the industrial warlocks coming out of the imperial countries of Austria, Czech, Germany, and Mexico!
A video a student did to my music somewhere up in the Northern states
I was a dj at the Denver radio station, MetRadio and 91.7FM, where I spun every Tuesday and Thursay from 2pm-4pm the best in hard hitting electronic and metal/goth/punk/emo/industrial/hardcore music.
MetRadio 91.7FM had an entire population, including students, staff, and faculty, at over 50,000, the largest student body in Colorado (Fall 2005). Plus the people who worked in downtown Denver who could hear the station. So it was a great way to get the music I loved out to the general public and on those given days I could hit a potential audience of 1 million people in the Denver area!
My music was featured in two storm chasing DVDs which is now being sold. Go to this website to view the main storm chaser, Tony Laubach. and enjoy the ride as I take you into the inner depths of tornadoes and Hell! Also be looking out for several X-treme snowboarding/skiing videos filmed in Alaska/Coloardo/California/Utah to feature some of my own produced songs.
Here are some of my albums and dvds that are available worldwide:

Dani "Daz" Garza aka Dj Morbid is a Basque-American who has been djing and producing music for well over a decade. I started out in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas as a club dj spinning rave and techno music back in 1993. When I started, I was also a Hardcore dj under the Dj Morbid moniker starting 1996. I decided to start dj'ing Dark Industrial/EBM/Darkwave music about 4 years ago in 2005 at undergound parties in Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins/Cheyenne area. Since then I have been pushing acid, trance, aggrotech, EBM, industrial, darkwave, hardcore, hard house and some metal into a melting pot of heavy hitting music for the dance floors. My self produced music beats and remixes can be heard throughout the world. Whether I am djing under the name of "Dani Garza" or "Dj Morbid", I am in it for the music and the energy of the crowd. This explains why I do what I do...Music is in my blood and having it in my life is what feeds me to live on to the next day. So anything dealing with being around music, I am for it!
History of how I got to where I am today :
I joined the Air Force in 1996 which took me to many places including Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Cheyenne, and Denver. It was in Cheyenne that I joined forces with some local musicians and formed Wither (Black symphonic metal). Since then, I have always had a fondness for black/goth metal and the industrial/hardstyle music. During this time I have been in several bands as a guitarist, vocalist, and keyboardist. Some of these bands ranged from Black Symphonic Metal to Death metal to Progressive Funk Metal to Dark Doom metal.
I formed "Mountain Raves" for the entire Northern Rocky Mountain region in 1998. It started out as an e-list to let people know what parties, raves, shows, and clubs were doing in the following weeks across the Rockies. This soon became a website I developed with the same information on the e-list. I soon got help from the people who formed "Pureform Atmospheres" in Ft. Collins, Colorado and they took over the reigns from there. That following year, I was one of the owners of Club 218 (r.i.p.), bringing the Northern Front Range of Colorado/Wyoming the best in metal, hardcore, industrial, raves, and electronica music.
During this time, I also helped the American Gothic culture in helping start the e-site, "The Gothic Preservation Society", with my gothic sister, Cinka. This organization wanted to wash out the fake "trendy bats" (Manson lovers) from the "actual Goths" (Sisterys of Mercy, Christian Death, Nosferatu, culture, religion, and art). I also wrote and collaborated with Cinka for several years and thus got my work published for the cause. "The Gothic Preservation Society" soon evolved and became "Dark Culture Magazine" and it took off like wildfire. After several years, "Dark Culture Magazine" is alive and well today!
We closed the doors to Club 218 in 2000 and relocated to Denver, Colorado where my band, SIDHE, started to play out more. It is here that I continued to produce music and play music as a guitarist/keyboardist. I was also in college learning film/television production at Metropolitan State College of Denver and University of Colorado. I also had a sweet job as manager of Guitar Center in Highlands Ranch/Centennial, Colorado. It was at this job, that I got trained on the latest in music production equipment and instruments. I went to workshops for Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, and other sound engineering tools. During this time, I also made a good home music studio for my solo music.
Around the same time, my "Mountain Raves" e-list soon became integrated with the "Colorado Raves E-list" and morphed into"ColoradoRaves.com". I helped out the starters of "The Underground Network" whom took up "ColoradoRaves.com" and found myself in a great musical network with some of the guys who would go off to become the pioneers of "Beatport" and start the DJ Acacademy out of Denver. I also became a writer for Throat Culture Magazine in which I wrote about bands and did reviews on the latest music coming out.
During 1997 - 2002 I found myself going to alot of underground industiral/goth/fetish parties in the Rocky Mountain region from Cheyenne, Ft. Collins, Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs eventhough I was a Acid/Hardcore dj. Whether they were held at Rock Island, The Church, Deadbeat, Tracks, Synergy, Bluebird Theater, Suite 152, the Hill in Boulder, Hi-Dive, or in the old warehouses in the old warehouse district of Denver, I was loving the scene. Even though I may have played a more aggressive side of metal music, I always had a fond love for goth and industrial bands. In my teens I listened to alot of Throbbing Gristle, Nitzer Ebb, Leather Strip, Cabaret Voltaire, Einsturzende Neubauten, Skinny Puppy, old Ministry, Front 242, Kraftwerk, Rozz Williams and Christian Death, Fields of the Nephilim, New Order, and old NIN. I then decided in 2004, that I would start dj'ing a harder edge of Industrial music similar to Hocico and Denver's own Velvet Acid Christ mixed with the Acid/Hardcore/Hard Trance music I was dj'ing at the time.
Fast forward to today...for the love of the music, I am helping the South Texas nightlife become one of the fastest growing industrial/goth scenes in the nation. I relocated to the Rio Grande Valley in 2006 due to my actual professional job and soon found myself melting myself into the diverse music scene. I am helping the region in becoming one of the desired locations for djs and bands to to have as a tour stop.
I am currently president of Klubstalkerz. We specialize in throwing parties, events, dj shows, and club nights as well as artist management and promotion. We also help out with charity events and fund raisers. Click on the link to visit our website. I also help out as a writer for Magazine X.
I have been hitting raves and events throughout the U.S including a few in Europe. My mixes and music can be heard on many online radio stations and satellite radio. If you have a station and like my music, get ahold of me so I can submit you some tracks! I have also done several remixes for various bands including Switchblade Symphony, Slipknot, Katy Perry, Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir, Combichrist, and Fall of Eden. I have new ones coming up for Carol Tatum, Nachtmahr, Sin D.N.A., Angels of Suicide, Virus Filter, Alien Vampires, and X-Fusion! :)
I have shared the stage with djs such as: Omar Santana, Chris Fortier, Delta Nine, Andy LePelgua of Combichrist, VNV Nation, Suicide Commando, Rage, Cruxshadows, Raven, Buzz Fuzz, Masochist, Neophyte, Razed in Black, Bella Muerte, Dieselboy, Carl Cox, Dj Fury, Seraphim Shock, Deadly Buddha, Espermachine, Equitant, End:The Dj, Dj Skinhead, Nemesis, George Centeno, Dj Rap, Dj Viscious, Bam Bam, Keoki, Rackets and Drapes, Christopher Lawrence, Vox Demona, Dj ESP, Bezerker, Dj Hollywood, Ron D Core, Paul Elstak, Hellfish, Hanzel and Gretyl, Dj Diamond, Dj Dero, Jekyl and Hyde, and others to name a few.
I have gone by several dj aliass: Dj Dani Kaos - (Hardcore/House) 1995-1996, 2000
Dj Wicked - (Hard Acid/industrial) 1996-1999

Sorry to hear that. I always said life is about the journey and not the destination. I never really liked the word death as much as I think it is more of a change. I think we just keep changing throughout time. I think that is one of the reasons we have mortality. So we can learn and evolve in the mind and soul.
