Neckbreaka are Israeli techno producer Gad Baruch AKA Vndrshmukn
and the ghost of blues musician, Ron "The juice" Mitzlee 1893 - 1948.
Gad, being possessed by an alcoholic street singer from the swing-era,
was led into researching early American dance music and folklore.
The connection between today's underground dance music
and the sounds of the 20's was instantly addictive to the pair.
No longer will rave music be alienating, cold and dark,
and no longer will our musical roots be regarded irrelevant.
The combination of massive electro bass, and distorted breakcore drums
with the uplifting melodies and brass sound of early jazz becomes explosive.
Creating a huge spectrum of new musical clashes such as
SwingCore, RagStep, Jive'n'Bass, ElectroBilly, Nu-new-Orleans, etc...
The barrier between hardcore and mainstream dissolves when the Neckbreaka takes you
on his time machine built with an ableton live setup that twitches with the fabric of musical history.
The live act is full of moving vocal improvisations, heart felt screams of terror,
and melodic hypes that will make grandmothers jam with their granddaughters.
And if the party gets hectic enough, you might catch a glimpse of
Ron "The Juice" Mitzlee, as he takes over the body and mind of Gad.
