Es en el 2000 que Dj Nelson se interesa por los ritmos electronicos y el uso de las computadoras para la creacion musical, como resultado de esto en el 2002 produce su primer demo "RUIDO INTERNO"
El 2003 viaja a la ciudad de Cusco, es ahi donde comienza a tocar en bares locales, siendo el primer musico electronico en la ciudad en fusionar la musica andina tradicional y la electronica, posteriormente explora el trabajo de Dj mezclado hip-hop, soul, funk, breaks, nu-jazz, latin grooves, electronica y todo lo que ahora forma parte de su electico estilo. Al mismo tiempo trabaja con diferentes artistas plasticos nacionales y extrajeros, creando musica original para instalaciones de arte y exposiciones, asi como fashion shows.
El 2005 edita el mixtape "FUNKED UP BEATS", y comienza a trabajar con los tornamesas para crear musica y scratch, buscando siempre nuevos sonidos y samples.
El 2006 fue invitado a la ciudad de Lima para tocar en eventos de Brekadance, ademas en Arequipa para el Festival Hip Hop Sur. Actualmente se encuentra en Londres terminando la produccion de su nuevo album "EMOLIENTE" en el que mezcla el hip-hop con la electronica y que contara con la colaboracion de diferentes MC's.
It was in 2000 that Dj Nelson became interested in electronic rhythms and started using a computer to make music. In 2002 Dj Nelson created his first demo, "RUIDO INTERNO" translated to "INTERNAL NOISE".
In 2003 Nelson travelled to the city of Cusco where he started to play in local bars, making his first electronic music fused with traditional andean tunes. More recently he has started to work as a Dj mixing hip-hop, soul, funk, breaks, nu-jazz, latin grooves, electronic music which now all forms part of his eclectic style. At the same time he started working with a range of national and international artists, creating original music for their exhibitions and fashion shows.
In 2005 Dj Nelson produced a mixtape, "FUNKED UP BEATS" and started to work with turntables creating music and scratching, always looking for new sounds and samples. In 2006 Nelson was invited to the Capital of Peru, Lima, to play in breakdance events and later in Arequipa at a hip hop festival. At the moment Nelson is in London, finishing his new album, "EMOLIENTE" which is a mix of hip hop and electronic with the help of a range of MC's from Peru.
