First comes the "love of my life" (a la eryka badu and common) which is hip hop, followed by R&B, dancehall, alternative, but my ears are open to anything, even a little country here and there. more specifically: (mad) skillz, ludacris, jay-z, amel larrieux, sarah maclachlan, dr. dre productions, timbaland productions, neptunes, dj premier, kanye west, d-styles, triple threat djs, sean paul, beenie man, little brother, anything to get you (and me) dancing.
Movies
i like good action flicks, good horror movies (that have an actual story), comedies, films with beautiful use of color, and good dramas. DO WATCH: Die Hard, Se7en, Gladiator, Fight Club, X-Men, Tears of the Sun, Blood Diamond, The Rock, A Beautiful Mind, Sweet November, the Blade series, Star Wars (episodes 3-6), the Matrix, Snatch, Requiem For A Dream, Belly, Usual Suspects, Keepin' The Faith, 8 Mile, Something About Mary, Austin Powers, 28 Days Later & 28 Weeks Later, the Bourne Identity series, Friday, The Last Kiss, Will Ferrell movies (especially Talladega Nights!). DO NOT WATCH: Eyes Wide Shut, Cabin Fever, any of the Leprechaun films (esp. Leprechaun in the Hood).
Television
alright, don't laugh: Nip/Tuck, Smallville, Dave Chapelle (when it was on), Ultimate Fighting, SNL, Heroes... and more comedy, and sci-fi sometimes.
Books

About me: I'm a HipHop and R&B/soul DJ who dabbles in dancehall and rock/alternative among other types of music. I first started DJing around 1992 with another DJ crew before joining Canned Beats (with DJ Pone, DJ Verge, and DJ Mars D) later that year. In 2002, DJ Calalo, Boogie Brown, and I formed our crew The Formula to add our own flavor of DJing and club entertainment to the SF Bay Area urban party scene with our monthly club event, "Body Rock". In 2005, I got together with friends and peers, DJ Brigidope (B-Side Records & Amazing Zoo Crew) and DJ G-Fresh, to form AllGood Entertainment.
Representing Canned Beats, The Formula & AllGood, I've spun at various parties and events, including being a resident DJ, promoter and producer of nightlife events Body Rock @Duplex (San Francisco) & The Blast @Club Six (San Francisco) and held other residencies at Sake Lab (San Francisco), Blakes (Berkeley), Soluna Lounge (SF), Milk Bar (SF) and Easy Lounge (Oakland).
I've performed alongside X-ecutioner Rob Swift, beat boxer Kenny Muhammed, some of the World Famous Beat Junkies, Triple Threat DJs, DJ Neil Armstrong (Jay-Z's Tour DJ/5th Platoon), Rock of the Boot Camp Clik/Heltah Skeltah, Dilated Peoples, MC Supernatural, Haul & Mason, DJ Revolution (Wake Up Show), DJ Numark (Jurassic 5), Brand Nubian's Sadat X, Frontline, Amplive (Zion I) & The Rub (DJs Ayers, Cosmo Baker & Eleven).

I work in web and print and have designed works in various mediums and formats for a variety of clients: educational organizations, musical artists, cultural organizations, and world- reknown DJ's.

Who I'd like to meet: i finally gave in to MySpace (and Friendster) with the primary intent of networking and promoting my DJ gigs and my crews' events, as well as maybe find some people who like to party and dance because of their love for music. i'm also a social (yet somewhat shy) guy who always looks forward to meeting new people and is open to the idea making new friends along the way.
with that said, i'm looking to (re)meet real friends, old and new. by "real" i mean people who aren't fake and into playing mind games. let's be drama-free. down to earth, non-judgmental people. people who are there for their friends and appreciate a friend who's there for them. humble DJs and non-shady promoters with good business sense. anyone who's down to go to a club or event i'm DJing at.
oh yea, and more ladies would be nice...haha. good conversation is a must.
