I began as a mobile Hip Hop DJ in the Bay Area in 1997.... in 2000 I began playing small clubs until, in 2001, I became the first and only female resident for UNIFY SOUND Events in Oakland. From there I promoted myself landing gigs throughout California, and eventually all across the nation. Since my debut many, many years ago, I've had the opportunity to set things off for performers such as Cee-Lo, Dead Prez, Medusa, Zion I, Mission, The Coup, Salt 'N' Pepa, and Goapele, and to rock the spot as the featured guest on some of the most renowned parties from the Bay to Brooklyn.
I've been blessed to be part of the BAY AREA SISTAH SOUND crew (with notorious turntable wrecker Pam the Funkstress and fly freshmaker DJ Zita), the SURYA DUB family .... and my partner in ITAL SELECTION HI FI is also my husband, ROSS HOGG.
Currently, I'm on hiatus, writing a dissertation and having a baby.

yea, i was rooting for both during the fight. i was pleasantly surprised it went the whole 5 rounds because i definitely didn't see that one coming from rampage.
