Nickel B (contact: djnickelb@gmail.com), based out of Burlington, VT has been DJing reggae, electronic music, and hip hop professionally since 1996. In 2002 Nickel B joined Itation Sound and is known for uplifting music sets with lots of variety, remixes, dubplates, and mixing precision. Nickel B and Itation Sound prevailed in the Boston Forward Sound Clash in both 2006 and 2007, defeating talented sounds from Boston, Brooklyn , and the Netherlands. We have played alongside artists including Jimmy Cliff, Sizzla, Wayne Wonder, Beenie Man, Israel Vibration, Buju Banton, The Wailers, Capleton, Midnite, Warrior King, Mikey Dread, Meditations, Sanchez, Rupee, The Wu-Tang Clan, Culture, Sean Paul, Steel Pulse, Burning Spear, T.O.K., Ras Attitude, Khari Kill, Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Luciano, and Anthony B. We have also organized and promoted events for many artists including Barrington Levy, Delly Ranx, Mega Banton, and Tony Rebel.
