Before the idea of DJ Ninja Star was born, there was an idea for an album that would span as many genres of music
as possible. From country, to death metal, hip hop to noise, the debut album from DJ Ninja Star was an experiment in
freestyle which brought a nation to it’s feet and the girls to their knees. Well known hits from Ninja Star’s virgin
offering are “Japanese Bad Ass,”a patriotic self declaration of pride. “Mr Feren,” a not so plutonic ode to a high school
science teacher, and “The Graduation Song.” A tribute to the lads of Milford, NH and their conquest over the trials and
tribulations of high school.
Led by the man himself DJ Ninja Star and his accomplice Jew Pac Yom Kippur, the ninja star clan has included guest
appearances by many up and coming young stars including: DJ ABCDEFU, Mix Master Menorah, MC Escher,
Black Death Angle, DJ Suicide, MC A/V, DJ Whore, DJ Bitch, Mack Attack, CMasterP, Dr. Dreidel, and DJ Shafts.
The second Ninja Star album was originally concieved as a concept album. With the working title “The Robot Chronicles,”
Ninja Star and Jew Pac set out on a mission to tell the story of the ninja's battle with Robots from another land.
The album yielded one of the ninja’s biggest hits to date: “Save The Day.” After principal production was completed
for the album, 2 more songs were recorded,“American Ninja” and “Rock N Roll Wasn’t Mean to be Like This.”
Both of those songs went on to be massive hits in their own right. After an impromptu photo session with polaroids,
the album title was officially changed to "Pictures From the Mothership."
Ninja Star's most recent single released was "A Tale From a Hero." This was written by Jew Pac Yom Kippur
and Ninja Star and was recorded and mixed by Mix Master Menorah at the New England Institute of Art in
Boston. Over the past year or two, DJ NInja Star's performance and release schedule has slowed considerably.
This has been mainly due to an extended stay in South Africa where the Ninja has been doing work with local refugee
camps. Ninja Star has also been living in Los Angeles developing his acting career. However, new songs are in the
works and a brand new DJ Ninja Star single should be appearing soon so stay tuned...
