Throughout his ten years of experience behind the decks, Nitin has established himself as a sonic force in the electronic music scene, rocking dancefloors from coast to coast and throughout the mid-western United States. A connoisseur of all things house and techno Nitin always has his ear to the ground and has crafted a fresh, intelligent and dirty dancefloor sound. As evidenced by his varied sets, Nitin draws on range of influences that date back to early electro and hip hop and adeptly blends them with the sounds of today by incorporating upfront promotional material from the hottest producers in the industry. While his programming, experience and technical prowess behind the turntables elicits respect from those in the trade it is his ability to work any floor into a frenzy that sets him apart from the competition.
Hailing from London, Ontario, Nitin was a pioneering member of the city’s dance music community, assuming the role of DJ, promoter and proprietor of the now defunct Saxaphone Records. Since moving to Toronto in 2005, he has parlayed this experience into an executive role with GEM Events, which has asserted itself as one of Canada’s premiere promotional entities specializing in world class electronic dance events. Alongside GEM founder and Toronto promotional juggernaut, Craig Pettigrew, Nitin has become an instrumental force in the Toronto scene.
Always driven by a thirst for new musical movements and evolving sounds, Nitin’s robust record collection has been the propellant for many legendary sets that, despite their mass appeal remain infused with his signature blend of quirky selections. In his decade long career Nitin has performed alongside countless house and techno legends including Richie Hawtin, John Aquaviva, Mark Farina, Stacey Pullen, Derrick Carter, Misstress Barbara to name only a few.
From the dust of warehouse raves, to historical venues like the Shelter, Nitin has established himself as one of Canada’s most vibrant DJ’s. Ready to throw it down for any crowd, Nitin is guaranteed to move the floor with his signature blend of quirky machine-funk.

Somewhere... deep in the heart of metropolitan Toronto, the machines are now in motion. They have been aligned and set to their mission by a second, hidden, shadow community... Robotciti.
It's rare to hear an artist come so strong on their debut, but "Silent Shipment" has been built with startling precision and with an absolute purpose. There may be those that wonder... but once it hits the streets on March 5th, there will be no question about the outcome.
