“There definitely is something magical about Numinous.” Urb Magazine
Currently Brett Abramson, aka Numinous, is working on his juggling skills, as he successfully manages an array of musical endeavors. Brett's involvement and dedication to so many facets of the music industry over the years have led him to the following current positions:
--Owner, Manager and Head Music Buyer of PropelRecords.com (webstore for the Atlanta branch of world-renowned, Satellite Records)
--Show Host on definitive underground internet radio station, ProtonRadio.com
--Owner and Manager of Blueprint Recordings
With Blueprint, Numinous and partner in crime, Habersham, have developed a highly-acclaimed outlet for their favourite forward-thinking artists as well as their own productions. Their original tracks such as "Leaving Tifton," "Rhetorical Question," and "Dubway," can be heard on Blueprint along with releases from artists such as Andy Page, Agent 001, Digital Witchcraft and Chris Micali. Numinous and Habersham's scorching original productions are already stapleholds in the record boxes of DJs such as Sasha, John Digweed, Sandra Collins, Phil K, Nick Warren and many more. In the studio or at the club, the Numinous sound ranges from funky and groovey to deep and headfuck, from techy and tribal to melodic and breaky, constantly striving to push new boundaries, while never losing its ability to stimulate the mind and the feet.
The grassroots buzz about Numinous is growing fast, as more and more open-minded new listeners pass around his mix CDs or experience one of his live sets. Gigs over recent months have included diverse settings such as Australia, Switzerland, Love Parade San Francisco, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Remix Hotel, and last but not least the infamous Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills. All of this is just the beginning however, as he explains, "I want to push our scene forward, not just revel in the past. This music is constantly evolving and can move people in so many incredible ways."
