DJ OGGY's Biography ENGLISH
At the age of 16, DJ OGGY made his first appearance in a number of major magazines as a fashion model. With his charismatic popularity, he successfully coordinated countless club events with his friends in Shibuya and its surrounding area. After graduating from high school in 1998, he hit the ground running with a professional DJ career in Tokyo's hottest cities of Shibuya and Roppongi. OGGY's innate creativity and taste in music and skills in remix made his production a one-of-a-kind groove that has kept fascinating thousands of his fans.
DJ OGGY moved to Los Angels in 2002. He started to utilize the best parts of two turntables, PowerBook (Serato), effecter and other devices to formulate the best essence of the club music in his remix play. His style has commanded tremendous popular personal support from local party people across all races. His professional DJ career took off and he started spinning at LA's top prestigious clubs (Century Club, Club Highlands, Club SOHO, etc) and LA's No.1 hip-hop radio station, FM 100.3 The Beat, as a mix-show DJ. In early 2005, he took over the No.1 spot as a main DJ at Century Club with Icy Ice from the world-famous Beat Junkies as his wingman, pumping up the events of over 2,000 party lovers every Saturday night. It's no exaggeration to say that DJ OGGY is known to all party people in LA and one of the hottest DJs in the spotlight today.

さらに、CLUBでのDJだけでなくDJバトルでの上位入賞(UC San DiegoのDJバトル３位入賞、Gong DJ Battle(Los Angeles) best 8、Unknow DJﾊﾞﾄﾙ(日本) 3位入賞)またはDJバトルの審査員なども行っている。
また、2006よりロサンゼルスのローカルのDJシーンを盛り上げるためにAmerica No. 1 DJ School”Scratch DJ Academy”でDJ Performanceもしている。
大小さまざまなイベントで確実に会場をロックし、DJとして日々成長しているその独自のDJスタイルは、これからも活躍が期待されるロサンゼルスのDJの１人であることは間違いないであろうDJである。
16歳くらいから数々のストリート雑誌に読者モデルとして載りだし、当時の仲間たちとともに渋谷を中心とした数多くのパーティーを企画し、高校卒業後の 1998年より渋谷、六本木を拠点に本格的にDJ活動をはじめる。生まれ持った選曲センスと確実なミックス技術によって作り出される彼独特のグルーブに誰もが魅了され、ダンスイベントなどを中心に多くのイベントに参加しだした。2002年、南カリフォルニア、ロサンゼルスに渡米。彼の2ターンテーブルとPOWER BOOK(SERATO)、エフェクターなどを駆使するそのプレイスタイルは人種を問わず、現地の人たちからも絶大な支持を得て、ロサンゼルスのTop3 (CENTURY CLUB, CLUB HIGHLAND, CLUB SOHO etc)に入るクラブでのDJプレイはもちろん、2005年よりロサンゼルス No.1 URBAN Hip Hop ラジオステーション、FM 100.3 The Beatにて週末のMIXSHOW DJとしての活動も始める。また2005年の2月からは、ロサンゼルスで知らない人はいないほどの大箱"CENURY CLUB"にてメインDJをしてBEAT JUKIESのICY ICEとともに毎週土曜日2000人以上のお客をロックしている。ここロサンゼルスで彼の名前を知らない人はいないと言っても過言ではない、今、最も注目を浴びているDJの1人である。

It may not exactly be what the market demands, but hip hop musically demands it. It would revolutionize the art-form and create a completely new genre.
Unsteady beats, true talent rapping over it...it's the only original things left to do...

I just want to watch this happen so hip hop can continue to grow musically.
