I am what I am only.
I am a daughter, sister, cousin, an aunt, mother, friend and also lover. I have few dreams and many aspirations. I believe in many things: I walk with my head facing the sky. I sometimes fall. I believe in GOD. I believe GOD believes in me. I believe in karma. I believe that I was meant to be here and that I'm not going anywhere until I've lived.
I am stubborn. I am messy but not disorganized. I am creative. Being creative accounts for my messiness - I think. I love cooking but not doing dishes. I love cheese...
...and technology...
...and camera equipment (that falls into technology, doesn't it?)...
...especially Canon (sorry Nikon)...
...and learning.
I love taking pictures - especially of my son. I am worried that I will be a horrible mother. I am worried that my son will notice that I'm a horrible mother or won't notice me at all. I am worried that I worry.
I am afraid of hairy spiders and stupid people and stupid people holding hairy spiders. (You never know what stupid people will do with hairy spiders.)
I am afraid of being lonely but not of being alone.
I am primarily afraid of failing and failure.
I love poetry that makes you feel something. I love music that makes you feel. I love photography that makes you feel something. I do not photograph rolling hills and waterfalls. I do photograph cityscapes and people. I love beautiful things. I want to be a beautiful thing. I want others to realize they have the capacity to be beautiful things without even trying.
I am a child of film but have been adopted by digital (I miss my real parents). My style is not always pretty but it is always true. I do not believe in PhotoShop but do know that no amount of retouching can make you more beautiful that you already are. I only ask that you let me see you the way you were intended to be seen.
I am a poet without a poem...until now.

    Things are falling into place finally. I'm still homeless (or else my whole life is in a garage b/c they are painting my apt. still, and schnazzing it up for me.) I kind of pitched a fit about the paint color, which was like "tanning bed tan flesh orange" so they're repainting it now. HOPEFULLY, I'll be in & living there this weekend.


    So, I've just been slumming. Staying at my parent's house, random friend's houses, random stranger's houses...ha. No stranger danger for me.


    Well, I hope everything is going good with your new position. Donald will take good care of you. The late night conversations are the best. I miss them already.


    Once I get moved in, I will have to pick those proofs from our shoot.
    I have to start marketing myself and getting that portfolio in order is top priority!

    I miss you guys more than you'll probably ever know. A single tear falls when I think of the silliness of production.

    BUT I promise to visit and keep me in mind for any projects involving makeup on the weekends. I just found out today I'll have 18 vacation days next year, so hell, keep me in mind for things during the week.
