Ollie Plé is a Vancouver, Canada based Electro/Tech House DJ and producer known for his driving style. Ollie was born in Scotland with ties to France, he has lived in Vancouver, BC since he was 4 years old. In early 1999 he started to Dj using two old belt driven record players and a radio shack mixer playing at warehouse and house party's. Since then, things have changed a little. Resident Dj at Vancouver's top electronic club night, "SiGNAL" at Lotus Sound Lounge and has just been signed to Miles Dyson's Record Label Plasmapool with the release of "Shady" and remix of "My Soul" coming out Winter 2009. Ollie has played along side Lawnchair Generals, Olav Basoski, Jesse Rose, Guns'nBombs and many more. Over the last 2 years Ollie has been making his mark on North America Djin in San Diego, San Francisco, Edmonton and Tulum, Mexico with dates setup this coming year in Miami, Los Angeles and Quebec. His recent CD releases include SiGNAL Session Vol 7 (2008), SiNAL Sessions Vol 3 (2007), and SiGNAL Spotting (2006).
In Vancouver, Ollie Ple's residencies have included Lotus, Skybar, Club Viva, Balthazar and MTV. Ollie has appeared at every leading venue in Vancouver, including Caprice, Republic and Pop Opera. He also remains active in the underground scene appearing at warehouse parties and renegade events around the Greater Vancouver area.
