Troya’s success has been really notorious from the last years, actually at the age of 20, he is one of Ecuador’s top djs. Born in Quito, Oscar’s passion for music began 7 years ago when he started collecting and playing music as a bedroom dj. With a deep love and curiosity for technology, he learned to use all the necessary dj equipment all by himself, tailoring his unique technique, each an every detail. Later, he decided to play for people at student parties, moving to big venues and events around Quito. Then he got invited several times to radio shows, mixing for 2 hours non-stop. “Hot Beat” was his own radio show, produced along with “Dj Sandy Muñoz”, many hours of extended sets made this show a way of success for Oscar. His unique and rare progressive sessions were acclaimed by a lot of people, maintaining a fluid, energic and hypnotic connection between him and the listeners. Some interviews on television and newspapers were done too. After that, he got one night a week in a club as a residence, moving towards the best clubs and parties around. Working with “DJSudamerica” as a booking management, Troya was taken to the underground side of the city and career, playing a lot of times in the “Blues Club” in which he shared the dj booth with some of the best and acclaimed djs around the world. SAMC 2006 & 2008, and Rotofest were the biggest appearances Oscar made in Quito, with thousands of attendants and renowned djs from the globe. Many high profile shows, parties and festivals are now Troya’s residences. At last, he is back on the studio producing his first singles in collaboration with international producers, which will be out soon
