Wuz up? I'm Patrick Johnson AKA Pacman. I am workin' on becoming a huge producer in the game. I am known by only a few people right now but that won't be for long. I am also a songwriter/rapper. The music industry is a challenge that Patrick "Pacman" Johnson is definitely ready to take on. The 18 year old producer/rapper will not stop until the world knows his name. "I want to be one of the best to ever do it, so I'm working at getting better everyday" he says, "music is my life." He feels as a rapper/producer he will have the opportunity to accomplish his primary goal, which is changing lives. Born in Channelview, Texas, music has always been a major influence in Pacman's life. As an incoming student at Stephen F. Austin State University, Pacman decided to devote his spare time to perfecting his craft. "I want to show everyone the real me. I want to give them a little bit of everything from comedy to old school hip-hop". In the summer of 2008, Pacman made it his goal to begin writing songs, and to make the world know his name. He says "I have always been pretty good at writing papers, so I figured writing about what was real and cool to me couldn’t be that hard.""I’m here to represent Channelview, Texas, and the rest of the Dirty South and get rid of any misconceptions people might have about the music we make down here" he says with conviction. Pacman has set out to raise the bar in the rap game. "I feel no one person is the same all the time. I think everyone has more than one side to themselves, so I can’t figure out why all these rappers are acting like they're pimps, gangsters, drug dealers, and thugs all the time" he says. He makes music to represent every side of him as an artist, and isn’t concerned with establishing gimmicks. He feels confident he will sign a major deal in the not too distant future. "If the labels want a real artist or a producer that can move some units and make the artist look good, not just get on the radio and flop, Holla at me!!! But if not I'ma do me regardless" he says with sincerity. With his "lyrical assassin" mentality and the ability to craft major hits with ease, Pacman is gonna be one of the best from the Dirty South.
