About me:
Pat Pat knows music. Her childhood was surrounded by salsa and merengue. She even played the trumpet in high school Marching Band! But it is her Latin roots that have allowed her to mix hip-hop, old school, salsa, merengue, R&B, reggae, reggaeton, and even house music. Due to her overwhelming popularity, DJ Pat Pat has had the privilege of opening up for several world-renown artists including Ying Yang Twins, Uncle Luke, Pitbull, Pretty Ricky, David Banner, Brooke Valentine, Bow Wow, and Trick Daddy, to name a few. She has also had the opportunity to bring some of the hottest acts to Southwest FL including DJ Laz, DJ Skribbles, Ivy Queen, Fat Joe, Tony Sunshine, Lloyd, Chingo Bling, NORE and much more!
Much of this fame has also given her the recognition to become a BumSquad DJ (
www.bumsquaddjz.com), and a Hood DJ (
www.hooddjs.com) But this is nothing compared to what else Pat Pat is involved in. She also runs an entertainment company, HPS Entertainment, through which she provides management and distribution for up-and-coming recording artists and promotional support for nightclubs, special events, and talent bookings. Her concept is based on a one-stop-shopping experience similar to what Wal-Mart and Target provide, except she doesn’t sell groceries and she won’t have film developed in an hour! “My idea is to sell a total package, from recording in the studio to sending out finished tracks to labels and stores,” explains Pat Pat. This girl doesn’t just limit her one-stop shopping idea to inspiring artists; she pushes her idea to nightclubs and businesses looking for some added exposure. “I consider my business an empire because I can provide someone, whether an artist or a business owner, with everything they can possibly need all under one roof.”
HPS Entertainment consists of several divisions, which include: production studio, graphic design studio, record label, DJ roster, and artist management, CD/DVD duplication, photography & writers. At 26 years old, it is hard to believe that one person has accomplished all of this in just eleven years! But wait, there’s more! Pat Pat also held the reigns at WBTT-FM 105.5 THE BEAT in Fort Myers as the afternoon-drive DJ mixer & co-host alongside radio veteran, Scrappy. While her time there was short, the duo was able to hold the #1 rated show for the afternoon time slot. She also worked as the mid day host and on air personality for WTLQ Latino 97.7 in Fort Myers. She held great ratings there too. She left after deciding to focus most of her attention on her own company.
Pat Pat has performed at night clubs all over the United States. Since 1998, DJ Pat Pat has been promoting and performing at the famous Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida. She has also teamed up with the owners of Pandora & UltraEvents, Alison Burgos and Yesi Leon. Pat Pat DJ’s events for them annually such as The White Party in South Beach, Girls in Wonderland in Orlando, and Aqua Girl in Miami. She also DJ’s each year at The ATL Pride, which is a party of Pandora Events and Curve Magazine. She is also a regional representative and distributor of Ozone Magazine. She currently promotes and organizes as well as performs at several nightclubs in Florida, on a weekly basis. Pat Pat is available for private parties, special events, and club night gigs.
