name is João
Paulo Figueiredo Barbosa. I
was Born in Belem-Para. I'm 28 years old and I'm
known in Belem's
night as Dj. Paulinho Figueiredo.
How
Everything Started
I
started to work as a Dj very early, around 1996, I used to play using
phonographs, and I carried around a wood's suitcase with a
lot of house's (kind
of music) records. As the time passed
by, I was getting better and started to play in CDJ.
Since
then, in 2005, I started to be interested in musical production,
because I
wanted to develop my own music style, because till then I was just
producing
house. And this, gave me the opportunity to learn others music styles,
such as
dance , techno, tribal and others.
Musical
Influences
I had a
lof of musical influences from Djs and producers from another
countries. Those
influences came from Barry Harris & Chris Cox (ThunderPuss),
Ralphi Rosário
& Abel (Rosabel), Peter
Rauhofer, Tony Moran, Offer Nissim , Superchumbo,
Robbie Rivera, Mike Cruz.
Nowadays
Today,
I produce the Tribal House.
